I felt this simple Q&A was needed so it will answer a lot of questions and so others don’t get the wrong impressions of what we are doing and also what J.K Industries is.
First off, what is J.K. Industries? Are you in charge of Spawn Village?
Josh and Kevin Industries, we are just a couple of players that love to build, reinvent, and make things look good and have fun doing it. That’s all we are, we aren’t in charge of anything. We have no power over anyone and certainly not over Spawn Village. I wanted to make that clear to everyone, just in case.
Why are you renovating Spawn Village?
Mainly due to the many roll backs of peoples old builds, Spawn Village was getting ugly and we (J.K. Industries) are helping to clean it up to make it beautiful again and we were bored. No one really spent time in spawn village besides to run back to their death spot. We want Spawn Village to be used again like it was when I first join the server a year ago. Spawn Village is the third thing new players see before they head out on their survival journey and we want it to make a really good, well, third impression.
Okay, but why did you remodel the whole spawn wall?
That’s a tricky question actually. Over the past month, when we started on the roads I asked others if they liked the wall. Some loved it the way it was, some wish it was made out of something else and some said it was built in a weird shape. What made the final decision to take it down and make it out of the ever expensive quartz was the wall was indeed built in a weird shape and it was unfinished.

Of course you can! Spawn Village is “built by the players” after all, right? We are in dire need of quartz for the wall. We are about 45% done and we ran out of quartz. There is a donation chest near the north exit of Spawn Village for quartz donations. Any little bit helps.
Are you planning on doing the railways in quartz?
Nope, they are staying untouched. In fact the wall is the last quartz thing we are building is the wall. We just wanted the walls and roads to match and look nice.
Are you planning on anything else?
Not much to do now, we did build a public smelter on the main road right behind the map last night. There is also a hill that needs to be tefraformed near the east wall.
