This is the ultimate misunderstanding fic, the kind that stretches plausibility to its breaking point and just keeps merrily going, because it’s just so much fun. When Dean and Cas first meet, Dean thinks Cas is engaged to Anna-- but that doesn’t stop him from falling for him as they start to spend more and more time together. Dean’s inner turmoil is brilliantly depicted, and Cas’ utter confusion in face of Dean’s fickle moods is pitch-perfect.
There are also a ton of fun cameos from beloved characters (Michael and Lucifer make a short but particularly memorable appearance), lots of delightful banter, and of course, so much wedding planning. And when the misunderstanding is finally cleared up (with one of my favourite lines of fic dialogue ever), the resulting bedroom activities are a perfect blend of sweet and hot. Even knowing what to expect, this is a story to be revisited time and time again.

Comments: 10/10. One of the first fanfics I’ve ever read and I can’t believe I haven’t rec’d this before. It’s awesome, it’s amazing, it’s a unapologetically cheesy rom-com and I love it. It’s a great length, the plot is funny, and it’s just amazing. Go read it.
