Today we travel to the famous chalk rocks in Rügen, an island in Germany. It's located in the baltic sea, which has been famous for being a beloved holiday spot for East Germany.

This spot is called "Victoria Sicht" (Victoria view) named so by a German King named Wilhelm.

It's a really steep fall if you are not careful.

At the bottom of the chalk rocks, really impressive. Here have another picture of the human that accompanies me. As you can see the trees are really close to the edge. Now and then they fall down the cliff.

First glimpse of the baltic sea at a little break. First time Spacehai has been at this ocean.

It's really pretty here, the sea is clear and blue and the sun already nice and warm. This ocean seems a lot calmer than the North Sea. Let's Enjoy the sun some more.

(That's of course not a real one.) But first there are other creatures to take a look at!

Some floating mushrooms, also called jellyfish even though they don't look like fish and more like mushrooms.

Some pretty fish between living rocks. (I heard those reefs are endangered on earth!)

I have to say... those fish do look tasty. I can understand earth sharks eating them. But also... I am astounded by the weird stuff Earth has to present. Like these little guys.

EARTH SHARKS! 😍

Ohhh, they do look a lot like me! 🥰 Although their skin isn't furry like mine. And like they apparently live below the water instead of the sky. Well the air on my planet definitely is thicker than earth air, so yeah guess water makes sense ecologically? So based on what I learned about Earth Evolution it could be along the lines of a convergent evolution? Fascinating. Let me write about that on my way back.

SpaceHai loves his coffee. Especially at 7:30 am during travel, just arrived in Köln by overnight train.

Little sightseeing ensued! Lovely city, river close to the train station. Sadly a little cold to take a swim.
