I genuinely don't understand how so many people came to the conclusion that Shadow doesn't need to eat just because he's the Ultimate Life Form when he's still organic and was created with Black Doom's Blood, whose entire thing was planning to use humans as livestock.
Even if Shadow could use Chaos Energy in place of calories, he's still going to need nutrients for normal bodily functions and healing. Even assuming a slower metabolism that would allow him to go months without eating, he'd still need a sizable meal after a big battle.
