to any bot willing to answer: what was it like when you came to earth and came across bumbebee? i'm sure it caused some confusion and chaos. and paperwork.
Optimus glances over at Prowl, who is chatting with Ratchet as Bulkhead and Arcee are playing some kind of Earth game that Bumblebee taught them.
âIt was strange, to say the least. We knew the world to be inhabited by organic lifeforms, though we had not known the full extent of their civilization. Discovering they had language, a society, was surprising enough, but to find one of our kind here, let alone one so young... I found myself feeling a mixture of shock and concern.â
âWe talking about the kid?â Ratchet chimes in, directing the attention of the other âBots to Optimus. âBecause believe me, I had some thoughts when we realized he was one of ours.â
âDo tell, old friend.â
âWell,â Ratchet puts down his own datapad, leaning on the desk next to him. âThe kid hadnât had a proper Cybertronian diet since he was a protoform. Heâs been raised on nothing but junk food, which, really, wasnât the humanâs fault. They didnât exactly have the tech to drill for the energon on this planet. That didnât stop me from worrying what sort of habits Bumblebee had picked up due to being raised in a more-or-less completely organic environment.â
âHis EM field is certainly one of them...â Prowl mutters, and despite the slight side-optic, Ratchet nods.
âKid canât control his EM field, at least, not as well as most others his age would be able to. There are few other things, mostly just a lack of knowledge about Cybertronian biology and history, but still,â Ratchet frowns. âItâs been a long time since any of us have met such a young mech. The youngest Iâve ever worked on since the hotspots started drying up was at least five hundred Earth years, and heâs going to hit three thousand soon.â
âMaybe itâs better that Bumblebee was raised here,â Bulkhead offers, âWhenever we did find a hotspot that wasnât dry, it didnât stay that way long enough for us to harvest any of âem. The ones we did manage to get--â
âThe battlefield is not any place to raise a protoform,â Prowl interrupts, âAnd we have gotten off-topic.â
âProwl is right,â Optimus says. Prowlâs doorwings seem to wiggle slightly, but if Optimus notices, he doesnât say anything. âThe point is, it was a startling experience, but we have been adjusting. Bumblebee and his human family have been extremely helpful in that, and in return, I only hope we can offer them enough protection against the Decepticons.â
The others all murmur in agreement, returning to their previous tasks. Optimus does the same, though he has a feeling it will not be the end of the questions about this sort of thing.

"loneliness is a slow and cruel poison." or "you see the good in everything. thatâs why i like it when you look at me." characters are your choice.
hfbhsjd sorry this took so long! thank you for the request! decided to go for a bit of Jareff and Myriad, since they live in my head rent-free. i also adjusted the wording slightly to fit the Vibe better, hope you donât mind!
spoilers for chapter 8 of KOTFE, please donât tag as any kind of ship
The more times he encounters Arcann, the more Jareffâs hatred grows.
At first, it had only been because of loyalty to Valkorion. Then, the betrayal. Being locked in carbonite for five years wasnât exactly fun, and being hunted like an animal is not an experience Jareff enjoys.
And now, to add onto the ever-growing list of hatred, Arcann has stabbed one of the few people Jareff has ever considered being âcloseâ to.
Jareff is already planning dozens of ways to kill the so-called âEmperorâ, but first, they need to actually get somewhere safe. Itâs easier said than done, but Lana keeps assuring him that she has it handled, and Manuzil refuses to keep an eye on her progress for him, so the best he can do is wait.
Heâs never been very good at that.
Jareff knows heâs likely infuriating everybody on The Gravestone, some more vocal about it than others, so, in a rare act of grace-- and perhaps a smidgen of worry-- he finds himself sitting in the medbay after almost a full day has passed with Myriad not waking up.
Heâs done his best to not drift their, almost outright avoiding the room, but when itâs the middle of the sleep cycle, and the only other people awake are a droid, Lana, and Manuzil, he feels thereâs enough safety for him to go in there without being cooed at for it.
So, he sits in the dimly lit medbay, staring down at one of the most unlikely allies-- no, friends-- heâs made yet. Her presence in the Force is her own, but he can feel wisps of Valkorion at the edges of it. He suspects the ghost has something to do not only with her survival, but with her prolonged sleep.
He sits a small distance away, just within armâs reach, but not close enough to get into her personal space. Just in case. At first, the only sound in the medbay is the soft beeping and whirring of machinery alongside the various creaks and groans of the Gravestone.
It begins to grate on Jareffâs already fraying nerves, so he whispers, just enough for only the two of them to hear, âYouâre an idiot.â
He internally cringes at himself, backpedals, âWhat you did back there... it was foolish. I know you wanted me at the Gravestone to defend it, but we both knew-- know-- how dangerous Arcann is. You shouldâve known HK wouldnât be enough to defend you alone, and now heâs gone, and you... Youâre here. Asleep. In the medical bay.â
Jareff sighs. Heâs talking to a comatose woman who very nearly died and, under most other circumstances, would be considered an enemy to him. He should just get up and leave, talk to Lana or Manuzil or-- Force forbid it-- even Koth. He shouldnât be doing this, itâs unseemly for a sith with such a high position as him.
âWhy is it harder to talk to you while youâre asleep than when youâre awake?â Jareff wonders aloud, âI know conversation is usually easier when there are two parties involved but... I donât know. I struggle to find my words, though from what Iâve seen and heard, you have that effect on people.â
He can almost imagine Myriad laughing at that, shoving him playfully and telling him to shut up, as if he were just a normal drinking buddy instead of Darth Nox, a man who has killed hundreds, if not thousands, of people time and time again. Sometimes heâs not even sure if she just ignores it, or if she genuinely forgets thatâs who Jareff is.
âMy grandfather was the first to tell me that there is darkness in everything. Whether it was a warning or him attempting to prepare me for a potential future as a sith, I donât know, but itâs how Iâve always operated. Hurt them before they hurt you, or at least have a plan to. Betrayal and deceit is the way of the sith, and I am a very good sith.â
But...
âBut then... I met you. You, Lana, Theron, even Jakarro. Trust came slowly from both sides, but you... Somehow, I always knew I could trust you. That you wouldnât stab me in the back. Perhaps it was because of how open you always were-- are-- or maybe it was simply because you didnât shoot me in the back at any chance you got, but after we first met, even if I never showed it, I... I trusted you. I still trust you. And for a long time, I wondered why you ended up trusting me as well.â
It had clawed at the back of Jareffâs mind for weeks after Rakata Prime, persisted all throughout their time on Rishi and most of the Yavin truce, but at the very end, as they boarded their separate ships, it had hit him.
âDespite your career, at the end of the day, you believe in the light. You believe that, so long as we work together, trust each other, thereâs nothing we canât do. You believe that compassion, love, and mercy are just as strong, if not stronger than a good blaster. It was-- is-- the antithesis to everything Iâve ever known, both as a slave and a sith.â
And yet, Jareff couldnât help but feel fond of her. As close to her as he had been his crew, his grandfather. That took him even longer to figure out, but he did.
âYou see the good in everything. Even me,â Jareff lets out a slight laugh. Itâs wet, as if heâs on the verge of crying. He ignores it. âPerhaps thatâs why I like it when you look at me.â
Several moments of silence pass, before Jareff finally pulls himself together, wiping away any and all rogue tears from his cheeks. He takes a deep, steadying breath, and stands.
He hesitantly places a single gloved hand over her arm, keeping it hovering, not actually touching the comatose smuggler. He wants to, he thinks. He wants to pat her arm awkwardly and gently in an attempt to show his platonic affection, but at the same time, he canât help but pull his hand back from her.
taylor does (theyâre why weâre named Solar) but they havenât really been... existing for a bit? active system members that Love Space are - i think rho, theyâve been the local nerd about all things lately
đ: If you could travel anywhere, where you you go? Does this destination differ between alters?

makes sense, makes sense. bee, what about your side? what was it like when suddenly all these bots came into your life, and how did you feel with what came with them (or what caused them to come, as it may be)?
Bee perks up excitedly.
âOh man, it was wild! At first, Spike and I were like âwoah, thatâs an alien spaceship!â, and then we saw the Autobots come out of it, and then I was like âwoah!! theyâre like me!!â, and I gotta admit, I donât super remember what happened at the meeting because I was super excited, and kinda freaked out because of how much bigger they are then me.â
Bee frowns a bit. âHonestly, I was kinda... scared, in a way? I mean, Iâve spent my whole life so far on Earth, and they were actually raised back on Cybertron, so I was worried they would think Iâm too weird or something. Iâm... still a bit worried about that sometimes, but hey! They havenât told me to get lost yet, so I think Iâm okay!â
âAs for what came with them, well...â Bee kinda shrugs a bit. âAccording to Optimus, the âCons were on their way here first, and the âBots only ended up here after trying to stop them. They havenât exactly made a very good first impression, considering they kinda sorta kidnapped Spike? And also just seem pretty... mean in general? Not very cool.â

i gave the swtor a quick look. any ocs in the inquisitor or consular classes?
!! thank you for asking!
Yes I do! Iâve got one for each, and theyâre... very different from each other bdfhs (throwing their info under the readmore)
Some spoilers for both of these storylines, as well as some expansion stuff.
My Sith Inquisitor is Jareff Tuun, a Human Man. Jareffâs had it rough, starting with the fact that he was not only born into slavery, but one of his earliest memories is of his father being executed by the Imperial Overseer in charge for attempting to start a slave revolt. His mother was taken from the camp and sent to Korriban for Sith Training once it was discovered she was Force Sensitive, but this proved to also be a death sentence, since she didnât even survive her first month there.
Jareff was raised by his maternal grandfather, who was not FS, but upon discovering Jareff was, he urged the young boy to keep it a secret and refrain from nurturing it. Jareff listened at first, but eventually began using his abilities to keep the other slaves at bay, especially as his grandfather got older. However, one night, his grandfather was murdered by guards who had wanted to get their kicks from beating up an old man. All of Jareffâs fury manifested at once, and left desolation in its wake until he was captured and sent to Korriban for training.
Unlike his mother, he survived. More than that, he learned to thrive, becoming Darth Nox against all odds. He was Ruthless, Bloodthirsty, Sadistic, basically everything youâd think a Sith would be. This has... changed somewhat in more recent times. The more time he spent on the Dark Council, the less impulsively cruel he became, and a more mature Jareff began to take form. And after everything that happened with the Revanites and the Emperor (one large factor being meeting a Republic Privateer who he would come to respect and work well with), his worldview slowly began to shift, culminating in him mellowing out somewhat (as much as someone like him can).
He will be the first to suggest murder, mayhem, and torture, but if the others are against it, heâll actually respect that. His temper is still something to be feared, and he is fiercely protective of his Alliance and its people, but he is... not benevolent, but certainly not the Sith who clawed his way up through the ranks, seizing his power with bared teeth and bloody claws.
And now, for something completely different
My Jedi Consular is Nyra Cheet, a Miraluka Woman. She was born on a Republic colony that was being ravaged by a horrible plague. Her parents were both taken by the sickness, and she was instead raised by the various medics and Jedi that had been assigned to keep the sickness under control. She showed her aptitude for the Force at a very young age, showcasing powers and abilities that even shocked the most experienced of the Jedi present. She was taught to control her abilities by both the Jedi and the handful of other Miraluka that the plague had yet to take.
While her healing skills were certainly impressive, her ability to enhance her combat skills and general disposition towards helping the Jedi defeat the Sith were what truly caught the eye of her masters, and when she joined the Jedi Order, they knew she was likely to become one of the greatest Jedi to live.
Nyra herself is, like many Miraluka, thoughtful and cautious, but due to her upbringing and the general, constant praise of her powers, she is also somewhat aloof towards matters and people not dealing with the Force. This has lead her own attachment to the Force to be neither light nor dark, but more neutral in nature. However, as she began to encounter more and more of the galaxy, even igniting a semi-romance with Major Motra Kanu of Havoc Squad, she began to become more grounded, her neutrality becoming more of worldly thing as opposed to an accidental thing.
She helped during the Rishi/Yavin 4 situations during the Revanite incidents, and during the five years after the disappearance of Darth Nox and Privateer Captain Myriad Carr (reported dead, but the claim was highly disputed), she primarily served as a healer for the forces who fought against Arcann and his Eternal Empire. Sensing something more at work, when she was told of an Alliance formed by the two to fight against the Eternal Empire, she was among the first to arrive. She would soon re-ignite the romance between her and Major Kanu once he, too, arrived.
38: what memory do they revisit the most often? / c: did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story? oc is your choice.
38: what memory do they revisit the most often?
Going to use Varniel for this since he's the only one I can really think of. He definitely revisits his last memory of Liam the most. Mainly because it's the most confusing for him due to the trauma associated with it and also the two-year gap where the memory was gone for him. Because he essentially erased the memory and since the brain doesnât like having gaps tries to fill in the blanks. So now he essentially has two different versions of the memory which make it all confusing for him. Like he would much rather the fake memory be real bc it's the least traumatic which results in him having a hard time accepting what actually happened. The main reason he thinks about it a lot is because of his difficulty with believing that Liam would ever hurt him. This got sort of rambly but yea. In general, Varniel has a lot of difficulties with memory in general because when he forgot the one memory he actually lost much more than that and is only now gradually remembering it all.Â
Long story short, bc of intense trauma Varniel consistently has nightmares of the time his closest friend betrayed his trust and tried to kill him and heâd much rather forget it all.
c: did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?
Riâasha is definitely the one Iâve had the most trouble with trying to figure out their story. Mainly because I didnât have a complete idea for how I wanted to start it as well as what exactly influences their later actions. As of now, I feel confident in how I want their story to be written. The only thing I really have to do now is actually finish writing. But yea I think Iâve written about 3-5 different variations of Riâashaâs story.
" if i squish your cheeks together you look like a pufferfish â (assuming you wanted some sent in as well, if not, ignore this.)
âHold that look.â
âWhat look?â
âThat look,âthe nobleman emphasized. He reached for her face, but she turned herhead sharply away.
âSssstop it!âEssätha hissed. She returned to her glowering expression, pursingher lips angrily to look off to the side.
Lord Amon chuckledsoftly. He bore her sassy sulking with patience, laying his handslightly on her shoulders. His palms kneaded her tension, and hisfingers gradually slid over to trail along the side of her neck untilhe could creep up to her cheeks.
Cheeks ballooning, she scowled at him; a crimson tint on her face.
Grinning, he pushedat her swollen cheeks.
âIf I squish yourcheeks together, you look like a pufferfish.â
She gasped, horrified. âI do not!â the woman exclaimed in a squeakytone.
âYouâre almostas prickly as one, right now, too,â he teased lightly.
Suppressing a grinas much as she could, Essie stuck her tongue out in answer.
Arching a brow, Amonhummed in considerate response. âYou donât need to be jealous andpouty, Essie. I only have eyes for you.â
âUh-huh,â heagreed, drawling it out with a humored twitch on his lips and twinklein his eyes. His thumbs stroked along the side of her face and alongher jaw as he leaned forward, pressing his forehead to hers. âYoumake a cute puffer. Maybe we can make use of those puckered up lips?â
The hues ofEssäthaâs blush darkened considered. She shoved at him gently, laughing.
âI donât thinkso!â
âWorth a try,âhe murmured, smiling fondly. Her giggled encircled her, making herfeatures glow.
Wearing a wild grin,Essie wrapped her fingers into his collar. The noblemanâs eyestrailed down to her hands skeptically. When he looked backup againshe was yanking him forward towards her, pressing her lips to his thecorner of his mouth with a loud kissy noise.
âAnd I wasnâtjealous,â she defended swiftly, âI was the right amount ofsuspicious based on her intentions, flirty glances and coy remarks.â
Amon sighed quietly. He put on a lopsided grin, returning her peck with sincerity andgentleness upon her scaly cheek.
âIt matters notdarling,â the nobleman murmured, âI can not be swayed so easilyby the lackluster words of another when the pull of my sweet sunâswarm gravity gently calls me home; right where I want to be, andwhere my heart belongs.â
[ thank Taylor I appreciate you!! and Iâm always down for an opportunity to write fuck yeah thank you!! ]
