#recipepost *Soya keema matar* Recipe Ingredients - 1 small katori soya granules 1 small katori matar 1 finely chopped medium sized onion 4 garlic cloves (mashed) 1" ginger (mashed) 1 green chilli (finely chopped) 1 large tomato (puree) Pinch of asafoetida 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1/2 spoon coriander powder 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp soya chaap masala (optional) 1/4 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 2/3rd cup water Oil Chopped coriander leaves (for garnish) Method - 1. Wash and soak the soya granules for hlf n hr before using it. 2. In a cooker, heat the oil and put heeng then cumin seeds to splutter. 3. Now add mashed ginger garlic to it. Once it leaves the rustic smell, add chopped onions with green chilli to it. 4. Once the onions turn little brown or translucent add the tomato and saute it for few mins. 5. Now add all the dry spices like coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, soya chaap masala, salt and mix it well. Let this cook for 5mins. 6. Add peas to the mix and let it cool for 2mins. 7. Squeeze out the water from the soya granules and add the granules to the mix. 8. Mix it well and add 2/3rd of small katori water to it and blend it all. 9. Close the lid of the cooker and let it cool on slow flame for 3 whistles. Let the steam out by itself later. After the steam is out serve it hot and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
