So I need help from the art history side of tumblr rn, Iām writing a really important paper(like fail or redo the year kind of paper) and itās about the historical evolution of the paintbrush, HOWEVER that specific topic is turning out to be almost impossible to find some reputable sources that donāt cite back to itself(looking at you Britannica). I donāt know if itās bc I donāt know how to look up stuff properly or if itās just a really niche subject(youād think it would be just as discussed and researched as paints, but apparently not, at least not what I can see)
If anyone is an expert in the field or know of a paper or could just help me out with some decent search words and terms and also good source finding sites I would be incredibly appreciative! Iām kind of in a panic rn bc my teacher is threatening to fail me if I donāt find something decent, like yesterday..!
