What does Gwyndolin feel when he has to interact with the court life of Anor Londo? What about when he has to interact in his sister's stead, when she is away on diplomacy or other errands of their Father? How does he deal with all of it?
// it might surprise you to hear that, truthfully, he feels rather little at all. in most cases, interacting with court is seen as his duty and nothing more. as its his job, he does not allow it to get the better of him. certainly, there are annoyances from time to time. but, sometimes there are parts that are enjoyable, too. he rather likes getting to show off his often too-quick wit or demonstrate his intellectual prowess. likewise, he enjoys putting those who deserve it in their place, gently and with the utmost politeness. itâs an art, really. and if anything, gwyndolin is certainly an artistâ
overall, though, such endeavors are exhausting more than anything, particularly for someone far less practiced in dealing with people than his peers. he does, at times, get worn. and its in these moments that his temper as been known to flair. however, heâs usually very good at keeping such things hidden and at bay until he can excuse himself. then, when heâs alone, heâs certain to let off such steam by way of physical activity, usually archery.
as for taking care of his sisterâs matters from time-to-time, itâs a sort of love-hate thing. he enjoys being able to lift some of the burdens from her shoulders and onto his own; however, those she entertains typically seem unusually daft and often grate on him far more than his own assignments. even so, though, itâs definitely worth it. and the conversation after, playing catch-up, is always extraordinary. even if it wasnât, though, he relishes any chance he has to spend time with gwynevere.
