You never know what is going to happen in rob's 7:00 Monday class at jai rhythm except that you are going to laugh, be surprises. And work your assana off. Especially now that the class has a resident dj. Tonight the surprise was that the class was mostly a rainbow rhythms disco yoga anamorphic, hippie love fest dance party #soooomuchfun. Started out in some loose free flowing asanas and moved into dancing flows into complete abandonment dancing so that when he steered us back into asana flows we were doing them on other peoples mats (big rule tonight. No using your own mat) the. Then steering us back into dance party mode. Then when we were all tired rob was like, "bring it in close. Now I know you want that person on your right to put their hand on the back of your heart just as much as you want to touch the person on your lefts back so stop being wall flowers. And then we stayed that way in a Fibonacci spiral feeling our pulses and breath become synchronized as 24 divine beings became one. Yeah I know it's so sappy it even makes me squirm; but, that's how it went down. #yogi #yogaeverydamnday
