Brian moaned as he pulled out of his girlfriend, causing her back to arch and feet to twitch against the dashboard. Their position wasnât comfortable at all. He was between her spread-out legs, his knees were to the car floor as she laid on the passenger seat that was pulled down.
It was luck that they hadnât been caught by a security guard at the back of a Walmart parking lot.
His shirt was off, and Jean-shorts by his knees along with his boxers. It was a shock her dress shirt still clung to her body, given how much they both were panting.
âWe need another condom,â Carson breathed out, dazed as her eyes fluttered open.
âI donât have another one,â Brian managed to say, searching his pockets.
âFuck.â
He turned back to her with a sheepish look, âMaybe we could just risk it.â
âFuck no,â she tiredly pushed against his chest. âBoy, weâre not doing that.â
âIâm clean I swear,â he exclaimed, as if to convince her.
âWe need protection.â Carson wouldnât risk it. âYouâre not gonna accidentally knock me up.â
âIâll pull out,â he weakly tried, leaning closer to her.
âYou wonât.â
âHow are you so sure huh?â He asked cheekily.
âBecause youâve been moaninâ about how good I feel.â She taunted, running her nails down his chest, âYou love it too much to pull out.â
âI do,â Brian admitted, licking his lips. âI do.â
âThen no more sex,â She said, worn out, âbut you can give me head.â
âOh I can, can I?â He teased.
âYeah,â she bit down on her lip as he started kissing down her stomach before finding solace between her legs again. âFuck.â

Lmao, I didn't know you already had one for when Carson gave birth for the first time đ đ
But, if you don't mind, i would like to request one where Carson and Brian are like pillow talking.....just like fluff
PILLOW TALK
as requested <3
WARNINGS: fluff, hints at mature content
ââ
âWhat?â Brianâs arms were folded behind the pillow his head rested on. His blue eyes followed his girlfriend who giggled to herself as she sat the edge of her bed, before joining him. Her room was dimly lit just how they liked. âWhatâs funny?â
Carson shrugged, âYâknow how you were eatinâ bum ass tuna sandwiches tryna get my attention.â
He rolled his eyes at the laughter that escaped her.
âThey werenât that bad.â Lie, and they both knew it. âWell, I got your didnât I?â Now that was true. The grin splattered on her face made him chuckle. His naked chest rose and fell, when she finally joined him, sporting her cute little lilac nighty. It wasnât pink shockingly, but most of her things were in the wash. âYou liked that you had my attention.â
âOf course,â Carson confirmed when he shifted his position, turning on his side to face her, sitting up on one arm. âA pretty boy like you. Obviously.â
âObviously huh?â
She nodded, âYup.â
âWell, a pretty girl and a pretty boy just makes sense right?â The words pouring from his lips made the butterflies in her stomach take flight.
Carson couldnât help but bite down her bottom lip, âExactly.â
âBoth who like cars,â Brian added, gaze deepening into hers as the sheets trapped them.
âLove cars,â she corrected.
âLove good food.â
âGood music.â
âLive an exciting life,â Brian marvelled, starting to trail his hand over her arm.
Goosebumps rose on her skin as he did so. The feelings he inspired had been blossoming for a while and she didnât want them to ever stop.
âItâs like science that weâre together.â She teased.
âBiology⊠yâknow since weâre always fused together,â He joked.
Carson dramatically gasped, âNo, you just like my anatomy.â
âAnd you constantly caress mine,â he retorted, earning a pointed look.
âNu-uh, thatâs you. Youâre obsessed.â
She gestured to how he was now gripping at her waist.
âCanât help it, you have my attention,â His voice lowered, but his adoring tone stayed the same, much to her delight.
âAlways?â
âAlways baby. Yâknow itâs more than just my attention you got.â Brian said sincerely. âSo much more.â
Carson slowly nodded, as they shuffled closer, closing the gap between them. âYeah, youâre a certified lover boy.â
He chuckled, âAnd whatâs that make you huh?â
âMine. Agreed?â
âFor sure, now come here, I need to make sure everyone knows youâre mine.â Brianâs body moved to straddle hers.
Her squeals and giggles bounced off more than just the pillows between her four walls.
in which, carson canât help but be triggered by her past relationships.
WARNINGS: trauma, exes, slight angst.
ââ
CARSON hadnât been herself for a few days, and it didnât take long for Brian to notice. He loved her confidence; he had fallen in love with everything about her âher style, her approach to life, and especially her beauty. This made him question why she was being who she was.
Passive.
She wasnât questioning anything he did. She would concede any time he suggested they do something. She wouldnât argue.
It didnât make sense to him.
And quite frankly it was annoying him.
âBaby?â He called out from beside the kitchen sink, looking at the soapy dishes.
She replied, turning down the television, âYeah?â
âI donât wanna wash the dishes, can you do it?â He asked.
Now, the dishes were Carsonâs nemesis. She would claim they ruined her nails whenever she did them. She hated it, and everyone knew it too. Apart from being a damn good racer, she was known for being a brat. A brat who was too good for washing up the dishes.
Brian hoped she wouldnât accept his plea but the fact that she stood up from the couch and met him where he stood rubbed him the wrong way.
âSure,â she agreed, approaching with a timid smile.
Before she tentatively grabbed the gloves, he said, âDonât.â
âWhat?â She turned to him, watching as his brows furrowed.
âI said donât.â
She asked, âSo you asked me to do the dishes and now you donât want me to?â
âNo, Iâm tellinâ you donât. Iâm givinâ you an⊠order.â Brian grimaced at his choice of words, but the expression turned into a frown when she barely reacted.
ââŠokay.â She breathed out.
Once again not putting up a fight.
âNo, itâs not okay.â He rushed out, startling her.
âBut you said ââ
âNo. Stop this.â He said almost pleadingly.
She blinked at him, âStop what?â
âIt feels like youâre apologisinâ for being alive Carson.â
Carson. He only called her that when he was irritated.
Carson gulped, âIâm sorry.â
He groaned into his hands, then pulled them away seeing her wince.
âDonâtâŠâ he huffed, shaking his head in disbelief. âDid I do somethinâ wrong? Did I piss you off somehow and is this your way of gettinâ back at me?â
âWhat are you talkinâ about?â Her voice sounded small.
Something he didnât want but he needed to get to the bottom of it.
âYou agreed to do the dishes,â he stressed, motioning to them.
She sheepishly shrugged, âAnd?â
âYou once said that doing the dishes is hard labour and youâd rather have your tyres slashed than do them.â He studied her closely, seeing her open her mouth to speak then keep it closed. âSee this is what I mean, why arenât you puttinâ up a fight?â
She inhaled deeply, âI⊠Iâm confused, you wanna argue?â
âI want you to be you.â He emphasised, earning a look of confusion.
âBy arguinâ?â
âBy not agreeinâ with me on everythinâ.â
Carson fiddled with her fingers, trying to find a response, âIâm not doinâ that.â
Brian softly scoffed. âThen what are you doing? Explain it to me because itâs been days and Iâm not the only one whoâs noticed.â
âBrian⊠I donât wanna⊠piss you off,â she quietly defended.
She nearly looked away at the slightly annoyance on his face. This is what she wanted to avoid.
âHow would you piss me off? What, by being you? You could never piss me off.â
âI did last week,â she confessed.
But he didnât seem to understand.
âWhat?â Brian was hoping she would explain further.
Carson reluctantly started, âYou were watchinâ the game.â
âRight.â He slowly nodded along.
âI asked you to help me with the laundry and you snapped at me.â
He scrunched up his face in confusion, âWhat?â
âI called your name a few times and someone mustâve scored or somethinâ because you werenât respondinâ. I called you to help me and you just raised your voice and said ââ
â â ârelax, stop nagginâ me.â Shit.â He ran a hand through his hair.
She kept explaining, âIn the past, guys usually get sick of me. Pretty quickly actually.â She let out a laugh of disbelief, âIt usually starts off the same way. Snappinâ or yellinâ at me for stuff I donât understand or claiming Iâm overbearinâ. I didnât realise that I started doinâ that. I donât wanna lose you Brian so Iâd rather just keep quiet.â
His hands dropped to his sides as he shook his head, âNo.â
âWhat?â
âDonât you ever keep quiet.â His sternness almost made her wince, âYour ability to not take shit, especially from me is one of the things I love about you. I didnât even realise that happened last week. That I yelled at you, you got triggered⊠baby Iâm so sorry.â
âItâs not your fault.â She muttered.
âIt is.â
Brian hated that she thought he was pulling away because of the incident. He hated that she started pulling away because of it and that she was quietly regressing.
He also hated all the guys that made her feel this way and despised the fact he lowkey was one.
She waved him off, âI shouldâve told you.â
âNo, I shouldâve realised. I know you donât like being yelled at. I didnât even realise I did it. I was distracted and Iâm sorry.â He stoped closer, fortunately she didnât step back, âYou shouldnât have to make yourself be small because Iâm being an ass.â
She murmured, âYou didnât know.â
âWell now I do.â A smile tugged at his lips.
She subtly nodded, she squinted at him, âSo youâre not gonna make me do the dishes right?â
He laughed, âPlease, as if Iâd let you ruin this manicure.â
He took her hands in his, then kissed them.
âThanks Bri.â
She pecked his lips a few times.
When she went to pull away his hands settled on her waist, drawing her back in.
âLet me show you how sorry I am,â he whispered against her lips. She hummed in agreement. He quickly picked her and she instinctively wrapped her legs around his legs. âIâm so sorry.â
Brian was trying. Trying to understand how much he missed. His wife had been struggling and only now he had noticed. He wanted to blame work, he wanted to blame the fact he was busy, busy trying to provide for his family. His girls. I just need you to help more. Her pleading rippled through his mind like a bullet. And so he was going to do just that. He didnât give Carson time to pack her bags, he did it, regardless of her confusion. And against her protests, he told her to kiss goodbye their daughter and took her out of their house the moment Suki and Tej arrived. Jessie and Ultra were in their care for a few days, giving Brian hopefully enough time to ensure his wife knew she could rely on him.
Location: Brazil.
Where they had their honeymoon.
He just prayed it was the perfect destination for them.
âCarson?â Brian called out to her, seeing she was still on the phone to Suki. Asking about how Jessie was, if she ate, if she asked for them, if she was scared without her parents. âSheâs fine. Trust me sheâs in good hands.â He heard her finally hang up with a huff. Their clothes were still in their suitcases, that remained at the entrance of the villa they resided in. A few people owed him some favours at his job, so he didnât hesitate to call them in, especially for his wife. âLetâs take a look around. Weâre staying here a while.â
She gulped, âYou said 4 days.â
âRight, thatâs good, you needed a break.â
âYou werenât listening to me,â she let out a groan as she folded her arms.
His shoulders slumped, âI was.â
âI said I needed help. I needed what you promised me. Not a holiday. Brian, have you ever realised I have never spent more than a day away from Jessie?â
âIâm aware and this is why this would be good. A good time just to relax.â He was immediately starting to realise maybe this wasnât such a good idea. She was panicking. Shaking at the thought of being in a different country. And what made matters worse was she had begun to leak. âBabyâŠâ
âFuck,â tears pooled in her eyes when she noticed, clutching at her breasts. âI⊠please tell me you packed â never mind.â
âI did, itâs in the car,â Brian assured her, he made sure the pump was the first thing he packed. Luckily aware of each feeding time. Even though Carson was still breastfeeding, she was weening Jessie off of it, and starting her on formula. Luckily there were bottles in the fridge back home and milk lollies in the freezer since Jessie was teething. âIâll go get it.â
Carson struggled to contain her tears when Brian raced out of the villa, leaving her in her own exhaustion. She didnât want to be here. She just didnât. Driving, then being shipped, was tiring and cramped. Not even the music could comfort her. I just need help, not a fucking holiday. It appeared Brian had planned a few things for them to do. The beach was one of them. The beach where her whole body would be on show.
She tugged at the mesh cover that cascaded over her thighs. Thighs she didnât want to look at. Thighs that were glowing in the sun but she didnât seem to care about that. The weather only worsened her mood. As were many young bodies that ran passed her and her husband as she tried lying down on a beach chair.
âWant some more water?â Brian gestured to the almost empty bottle on the table between them. He sat up, feet sinking into the sand whilst he stared over his wifeâs body. âWhatever youâd like Sonny.â
âIâm fine.â She readjusted her cover for the 10th time.
âYouâre gonna get way too hot in that thing,â he said, pulling off his shirt, it was clinging to him. The sweat had seeped through and he couldnât take it. What he didnât know was his perfect toned body irked her more. âCâmon baby, wanna put this on me?â He held up a bottle of sunscreen, catching her attention. As did the many eyes that cut to her husband when they looked over. âYou know you hate if I get sunburnt.â
Swallowing the knot in her throat, she nodded, cautiously getting up, clutching her cover, hoping it didnât ride up.
The sand made her stumble between his legs, where his hands caught her waist and stabled her.
âAh,â he chuckled, grinning cheekily up at her. âYouâre so beautiful. Donât know how many times Iâve said that today, but I need to say it more.â
âPass me the bottle,â Carson held out her hand, dismissing his compliments. His amusement almost faltered, had she not been standing so close. His hands didnât want to stop caressing at her sides. One more minute and her body would stop tensing. But her demand was clear and so he passed her the bottle. âThanks.â She mumbled, popping open the lid, and squeezing its contents into her hand. She rubbed it into her hands and then into his shoulders. He didnât look away when she repeated the same thing until he caught her hands. âBrian, I need to get your back before you burn.â
âCan you please relax?â He said almost pleadingly. âI know I disrupted your schedule. Everything. But Iâm trying. I want you to come to me when youâre worried.â
Carson tensed again, shrugging out of his hold and rounding the beach chair, wanting to finish what he had asked before.
âIâm sorry.â He didnât stop talking, even if he couldnât see her expressions on her pretty face. âI just need you to know that.â
âOkay,â she settled on to at once she was finished. He craned his neck to the side, to see that she hardly reacted to his apology. âWhat?â
âThatâs it?â His eyes followed her as she began walking back to her chair.
She said nothing else, rolling her yes at anyone leering at her husband, frustrating her more. Brian didnât press again. Despite the boiling sun and the raving locals, Carson didnât care much to look around at the place she once loved.
And so when they returned to the villa, their arguments only crept up again, as the sun was bleeding into the horizon.
Her bikini and cover dropped onto their bedroom floor as he trailed after her in his trunks and flip-flops.
âYou literally told me, everything I do is my job.â
Brian frowned, âI know.â
âYou literally made me feel ungrateful,â she exclaimed, grabbing a hair band and pulling up her hair.
âI know and ââ Brian was cut off as she faced him, eyes simmering with rage.
âYou donât fucking know Brian. Do you know it feels like having a kid and you try and try and give her everything you never got and it feels like she doesnât feel it? Like she doesnât feel the love I feel?â
âWhatâŠâ his breath hitched in his throat as his gaze darted over her contorted features.
She breathed out, âShe likes you more than me.â
âShe doesnât.â Brian instantly denied.
âShe liked you because youâre hardly around. Everyone loves the parent that isnât really present.â
He couldnât help but softly scoff, âRight.â
She groaned in annoyance, âWhat? Brian, you spend sometimes a week or two away from us. And when Jessie is finally asleep, and when Ultra is too, I donât sleep. I canât. Iâm just alone.â She listed, feeling tears sting at her as she slumped against the wall they stood before, âCleaning, washing, mopping, vacuuming, feeding, cooking, changing and then repeating it all over again.â Her throat felt raw, âIâm so fucking tired all the time and sometimes I just donât want to be there. In that home. And sometimes⊠I donât wantâŠâ
Brianâs blinking quickened when he caught on to her hesitant hints.
âWhat? To be a mom? To be my wife?â
âI guess,â her words escaped her before her mind could catch up.
Brian let out a shuddered breath, âWow.â
âDonât,â her jaw twitched, when she saw his downcast stare, âDonât make me feel guilty. I already feel guilty enough.â
âIâm not trying to make you feel guilty,â he assured, yet her admission was like shards piercing his heart.
Carson swallowed harshly as she anxiously folded her arms, âIt disgusts me, Brian. To know that sometimes I just wanna notâŠâ
âYouâre human,â he defended, following her every move.
âIâm a mom. And a wife and sometimes itâs too much,â she confessed, tears dared to escape her glossy eyes.
âI shouldâve realised sooner.â He took a step toward them, wincing at the harsh light cast over them. âYou felt alone. You were alone and Iâm sorry.â Apologies were tumbling from his lips. âBut thatâs gonna change baby. Youâre my wife and mother of our baby girl. The love of my life. I wonât let you get away that easy. Okay?â He assured. No, he promised as he stepped closer to her, determined to make her know every word he said he meant. Their hands grazed each other whilst he continued, âRaising a kid is both our responsibilities. Our jobs. Not yours alone.â
Not yours alone⊠she wanted to trust him. She needed to. For her sanity. For their marriage. For their daughter. For their future.
And so she nodded.
âNot mine alone,â she uttered, exhaling quietly as their foreheads pressed together.
âNot yours alone,â he repeated.
â
a/n:
I felt this continuation was needed. Plus I like the angst between them.
a = affection - brian is affectionate toward carson.
he loves to show her how much he cares and deeply listens to her, through the gifts he buys, or how he engages in conversations. heâs always actively listening. his cop background helps with that.
b = best friend â as a best friend, they would
bond first over their love of cars, or car designs. theyâd meet at a street race. heâd be impressed by her driving and the detailing on her car, and potentially want her to design something for him or teach him some moves.
c = cuddles â brian loves to be holding carson.
cuddling, heâll do usually whenever theyâre in bed, or standing near each other. heâd be the big spoon, and sometimes, heâd lay on her chest, head on her breasts and breathing in her scent.
d = domestic â settling down is definitely on the
cards for them, however, neither would want to bring it up first. Instead, they just act like a married couple; cooking (carson cooks, brian cleans)
e = ending â if they were to break up up, carson
would be the one to do it. when discovers his lies, she would drop the entire relationship. brian would fight for them but she would just leave it.
brian has imagined many times putting a ring on her finger, just as much as carson has envisioned wearing one.
g = gentle â emotionally⊠carson is the one to talk. she wears her heart on her sleeve.
brian is more reserved, keeping his feelings close to his chest. but physically, heâs gentle with her, treating her like a queen, he does the same.
h = hugs â they hug upon greeting and then
saying goodbye.
i = i love you â brian would want to say it first,
but carson would just blurt it out. she would be embarrassed, but he would immediately say it back, assuring her of his deep and intimate feelings for her.
j = jealousy â itâs obvious whenever brian is
jealous. itâs all over his face. he glares or scowls when heâs jealous. he asks or says stupid or inappropriate things.
k = kisses â kisses between brian and carson
start soft and cute, then get heated and passionate as the moment continues. neck kisses are carsonâs favourite. secretly brian adores having his forehead kissed.
l = little ones â children would come up randomly.
brian knows how sensitive the topic is, especially since carson was abandoned by her mom, and left without a dad. he always thought she like be a great mom, but knows whenever theyâre ready, itâll happen. he would love to start a family with her.
m = morning â brian is always up first.
in the minutes or hours, heâs up before carson, he just lays with his arms wrapped around her, admiring her.
n = night â they fall asleep to music playing in the
background. brian would hear carson slowly get quieter as she tries telling him about their plans for the next day.
o = open â brian isnât an open book.
it would take a lot for brian to tell carson details about his past. sheâd respect it, yet she is curious about his childhood, his parents, and his old friends. something serious would have to happen for him to reveal anything. and even then, it would be a gradual process.
p = patience â brian only gets angry when heâs
protective over carson or feels like something is wrong, like heâs being disrespected; like another guy trying to hit on carson right in front of him. other than that heâs a pretty chill guy.
q = quizzes â brian doesnât say it often, but he
would remember passing comments that carson would say. on their first date, she mentioned a car ornament that she wanted. weeks later and she was randomly gifted with it. heâs an attentive guy. he would rarely forget anything about carson.
r = remember â brianâs favourite moment about
his and carsonâs relationship is them in the garage. they can be wrapped up in each others company and find themselves in either complete silence, or engaging in a conversation. and neither would notice anyone else, just each other.
s = security â brian is naturally protective. heâs a
cop, an undercover one, but a cop nonetheless. whether itâs an arm around carsonâs shoulder, walking on the edge of the sidewalk or even just making sure sheâs wearing a seatbelt when heâs driving, heâs gonna make sure sheâs okay and safe. carson would protect brian by keeping close whenever theyâre near people he doesnât know. she would defend him always.
t = try â their dates would always be very
spontaneous, or planned them the day before. theyâre thrill seakers, itâs in their veins. however, with gifts and every day tasks, theyâd make sure each other knows theyâre always listening and aware of what needs to be done or potentially bought.
u = ugly â brianâs anger is a bad habit of his.
carson would hate when he wouldnât just say whatâs wrong. he would take his frustrations out on her and make it feel like sheâs at fault. carson can be similar, although her focus shifts if she feels upset and does not acknowledge when heâs trying to help.
v = vanity â theyâre a pretty people, thatâs it.
w = whole â brian couldnât focus if he doesnât
know if carson is okay or not. just one text would suffice and until then, heâs internally panicking.
x = xtra â he loves how put together she is.
how pink is her favourite colour and how good it effortlessly looks on her. heâd take picture of her whenever (with her permission of course,) sheâs his screensaver.
y = yuck â he wouldnât like blatant disrespect
or to be ignored. he loses it when carson doesnât acknowledge him or just disregards him. if theyâre gonna argue, he wants to argue not to leave it alone. (very hypocritical but oh well)
z = zzz â brian can sometimes talk in his sleep.
or sometimes can only sleep when his shirt is on carson. he loves to the feel of his sheets on her, before bed.

where carson finds herself in an unfamiliar place.
WARNINGS: mature content
â
âOh fuck!â Carson exclaimed, waking up to see Brianâs sleeping ass next to her. She shook him and until jumped up like there was a fire. âWhat the fuck happened?â
âSonny â you scared me. Why did you shake me like that, just get back to bed,â Brianâs morning voice was even deeper than she remembered. She had to snap out of it and more importantly get out his bed.
âWe slept together, what was I thinkinâ?â She hissed, pulling the sheets up to her chin, ignoring his tender gaze.
They were both naked and yet he was acting like it wasnât a big deal⊠when it was a big fucking deal.
He tried to move closer, âItâs okay.â
âThis is not okay, nah, this is far from okay.â She stumbled as she stood up, stuck between letting go of the sheet and tossing on a random piece of clothing that was already on the floor, âI was supposed to stay say from you. Do better be better, but Iâm so fuckinâ naive god!â
âYouâre not naive, you were drunk, we were drunk and it happened. It was good, better than good, great like it always was,â the images of last night that flashed through his head had him grinning like an idiot.
Carson scoffed, âStop smilinâ this ainât a good thing.â
âAnd why isnât it? You enjoyed it.â
âI didnât,â she lied.
His face fell, âBullshit, the way you were screaming my ââ
â â stop it brian ââ
â â name, drove me crazy, hell the damn houseboat couldâve capsized,â he called out as she found her underwear and put it on, and quickly threw the sheet back at him, hoping he would cover up.
But the fucker didnât.
âShut up and help me find my shit. This isnât a good thing. This is so fucked. I fucked the guy who ruined everythinââ she panicked, looking for the rest of her clothes, neglecting to see the anger forming on his face.
âStop sayinâ that.â
She turned to him, half naked, âWhat? That you broke my heart, lied and messed with my head just for a job! Itâs the truth.â
He stood up, âAnd you donât think Iâm not payinâ for that? The girl I love looks at me like a villian.â
âStop sayinâ that,â she hissed, heart racing at his confession.
A year had gone by and he was still claiming he was in love.
âWhy? âCause you know thatâs not a lie.â He shook his head when she tried to deny the truth, âAnd neither is this,â he motioned between them, they looked a hot mess, but she was gorgeous beyond compare. âLast night proved it. We mightâve been under the influence but you know it sure as hell was warranted. You wanted me, I wanted you. It was the truth back then and itâs the truth now.â
âBrianâŠâ she trailed off, wanting to avert her gaze but remembered he wasnât wearing a damn thing.
âNow thereâs some shit going on today. I know you donât wanna get caught up in it. I donât want you two either but you need to stay with Suki and Tej. I canât have you gettinâ hurt.â
âMore police shit?â
âItâs Verone,â he opted to say, âMonica will be with him.â
âI donât care about your new piece.â
His eyes doubled in size, âSheâs not ââ
ââ Iâll be gone before she comes back. I promise. Now help me find my shit,â she pushed her braids away from her face as she scanned the badly lit room.
âCarson,â he tried reaching out but she backed away, âlisten to me. Nothinâ is going on between me and her, nothinâ.â
âI saw the way she was around you,â she huffed, shaking her head at his confused expression.
âAnd how was that?â
âIt was the same way I was,â she confessed.
Monica looked giddy, whether it was steal or not she knew that was the Brian affect.
âBut that doesnât mean I like her. I never did,â he stated, hoping he was getting though to her.
âIt was all a job right?â She pressed, and he stupidly nodded, âLike with me.â
âThatâs different,â youâre different.
âSounds the same,â she shrugged, âJust feel sorry for the girl.â
âFor the love of god,â his voice rose, pinning her to her place, âCarson itâs not the same! None of this is the same. The only thing that hasnât changed is my feelings for you. Youâve got me on the hook and you havenât let me go, believe that. I love you so much, I wouldnât be able to move on. So no, Monica is Monica. And if sheâs flirtinâ with me, I shut it down.â
Carson didnât know what to say, and that made her angry. Angry because she had dozens of things ready to say when she first saw him, but all that went out the window when she had some liquor in her system. Drinking with Brian used to be fun, and yesterday proved that it still was. But mixing feelings with alcohol was never a good thing.
âOkay.â
He reeled back at her response, âOkay? Just okay, after all of that?â
âWhat do you want me to say?â She rolled her eyes, âBrian youâre not wearinâ clothes, which means weâre not supposed to be havinâ this conversation.â
He tutted, âFine, later, we have the conversation youâve been avoiding fully dressed.â
âDonât I get a say?â She threw out of her arms.
âIâm not gonna let you avoid it anymore. Weâve been going back and forth for months. And Iâm not lettinâ you slip through my fingers again.â
The sincerity in his eyes made hers soften.
âYou wonât stop tryinâ will you?â She breathed out, as he grabbed some boxers from the ground and put them on.
âNever,â he admitted, smiling slightly now he was getting through to her. âShit will be goinâ down later today. So I promise when this shit with Verone is done for the day, weâll talk. No alcohol, no sex, just talk.â
She raised a brow, âJust talk?â
âJust talk,â he promised, closing the distance between them.
She could feel the heat radiate of his toned body. She wanted to sneak a peak but she couldnât give that easily⊠again.
âOkay,â she agreed, biting her lip.
âGood.â He wore a shit eating grin, âNow, you wanna come back to bed or you leavinâ?â
It was 6am and she sure as hell wouldnât go out at this time, not in Florida, nor would he let her so she nodded.
She bit on her bottom lip as she looked him up and down, âI guess Iâll come back to bed.â
He lowered back on to the bed and teased, âYou want another round to help you sleep?â
âShut up, you ainât that good,â she snorted, falling next to him.
âDOMINIC, what the hell is this?â Was the first thing Carson said, glaring when she noticed Brian walk into the the room with her godbrother.
She hadnât seen him in years, even in Miami she managed to avoid him despite being friends with both Suki and Tej. He knew where she was and despite the many times he tried to get in touch with her, she stayed away. His betrayal was like shrapnel and seeing him right now, the falling pieces felt like slices on her flesh.
âCarson, listen.â
âNo, what is this? Why is he here,â she hissed, cutting off Domâs attempt to soothe the situation. âHeâs a fed Dom, or did you forget that?â
âIâm not the enemy,â Brian spoke for the first time, earning another harsh glare. It hurt to see him look at him in such a way. It brought back all the memories of her after finding out he was a cop. It was agony then and itâs heartbreaking now. âYou can trust me.â
A bitter laugh escaped her.
âYou gotta listen to me,â Dom stepped forward, âitâs not about him. Itâs about Letty.â
âWhat did he do?â Carson scowled, âdid he play a part in all of this? Did he hurt Letty?â
Dom run his hands over his face, âJesus.â
âYou think I would do that shit?â Brian stressed, his heart clenched at her accusation. âI would never hurt Letty.â
âWell sheâs gone,â Carson replied, voice breaking. She turned away from him and looked to her Godbrother. âSheâs gone Dom. Mia and Keelie are coming soon. I doubt they wanna see him here.â
Brian didnât know what to say. She was as beautiful as ever and she hated him. Understandable. But the situation was bigger than them. Braga was bigger than them.
âI like your hair,â he blurted out, taking the squabbling Godsiblings by surprise.
His eyes assessed every change to her face and body in the last 5 years. She wasnât the smiley person he once knew and of course he was partially to blame. She wasnât wearing pink, not even in her accessories, it was all black. She made it work, how could she not? It was Carson. The woman who used to be his.
She uttered, âItâs a wig.â
âStillâŠâ
She scoffed, âNice chat.â
She went to leave the room but a hand reached out.
âSonny wait.â
She swivelled on her heel, jabbing a finger I his chest, âDonât. I mean this in the most threatening way. If you ever call me Sonny again, Iâll drive your little fed badge so far up your ass youâll be breathing copper for the rest of your life.â Her threat had his eyes doubling in size. Dom stifled a laugh in the corner of the room. âCool? Cool.â
âCarson you need to chill,â Dom tried despite himself.
Carson shook her head, stepping away from the blonde, âI donât gotta do a Goddamn thing. You brought him here, âcause he claims to know what happened to Letty? Itâs on you if you believe that but I donât. Heâs a snitch, heâs a liar and he fucked up our lives.â
âYou donât gotta get along,â Dom paused, âbut we need you.â
âBullshit.â
âYou think I wouldâve bring him here if I knew how bad it was gonna hurt you? Youâre my sister. Just like Mia. I donât want anything to happen to you. Not like what happened to Letty. Braga is the target not OâConner. Once itâs done you donât gotta see him again.â
She didnât say anything for a minute, reluctantly taking everything in he said. She didnât know what to do. It hurt to be around Brian. He broke her heart. The family was split. Jesse was gone and she couldnât let anything happen to the people she loved.
Not anymore.
âCarson câmon,â Domâs voice dragged her from her thoughts.
âSonnyâŠâ Brian regretted speaking the moment her hand launched out and collided with his face. âShit!â
Dom didnât say a damn thing and let her walk off.
âIâm in, but tell buster to stay in his lane!â She called out.
Brian rubbed on his blotchy cheek, turning to Dom who shrugged.
âYouâre lucky all you got was a slap.â

I was bored and decided to write their reunion. Obviously 5 years has passed so our girl has changed. I was thinking about making it into a 3 parter. Them meeting again, then Carson and Brian getting back together and the last would be their ending, considering Iâm not doing the other films.
