#novvinylchallenge day 14: sophomore release. I started thinking about including EPs in discography to qualify something as a sophomore RELEASE, but opted just to go for the second full-length studio album. Spotlight: #TheGrapeAndTheGrain's full-band second album! What a great damn project. What began as the brainchild of #DanielGrimsland (of #theband3), TGATG evolved into a monster in its own right. This release saw how many more corners of the musical spectrum could be tapped into when you mix in a cast of talented songwriters and musicians with a gifted multi-instrumentalist. This 2014 self-titled kicks ass! The music is up on bandcamp to check out. The album was recorded and mixed at the legendary #appleheadstudio in Woodstock, NY by CJB & Mike Boom. This vinyl was #crowdfunded via #Rockethub and is one out of 100. There's actually 10 left on #bandcamp, so hurry and grab one before there's none left! They were hand-screened by #boneshakerrecords.
