i need people who want to write about hockey to understand that one person cannot carry a team. if someone is good at passes but there’s no one to pass to, they will lose. if someone is good at defense but their team can’t get goals, they will lose. if a goalie can make thirty saves but their team can’t defend them, they will lose. no matter how good a player or a goalie is, they will get backed into a corner. there will be a shot they can’t stop by themself. no hockey team is made up of one person.
