Dunkin Donuts the sequel.
The first season had to be resourceful with what it had "What can we do with a staircase?" but this season I'm sure had a little more budget and expectations.
That doesn't make this season more or less, it's just a bit different is all. We have the addition of some new heroes and villains. I used to take it as "their first season is spend with a low level costume and then either the ending or second will have actual costumes." But I've already watched the Punisher seasons and I really only remember the skull once, so the costume dept is meh.
I will say that the action, while still entertaining, seems like they're holding back, like they do this rapid punch thing that just seems really fake where they almost hesitate to hit and they'll cut to a bloody nose and then do the same thing and cut back to a black eye, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The hardest hitting battle was actually with a child, not even exaggerating, like they nailed that scene but it's just crazy to think about. Other than those two things though, everything seems very spot on, I mentioned how some of the shots impressed me with the first season and this one had a few as well, maybe not as much but still good.
There are some really good episodes and some not so good ones, 11 being one of my favorites out of the whole shabang. Now, I did see a potential that kind of disappointed me though because they could've had it to where all three heroes found their information separately to meet at the same place and that would be their reason to fight/team but that didn't really happen, we just got 2/3 then it kind of splinters off.
They also give Karen a little bit of attention too but I feel it's almost for naught because it comes off as an afterthought "Oh, here's this news clipping that we're going to show her reacting to." Uh, huh? "This ain't your first rodeo is it?" Well, no, we had S1 but was there something else, like what are we getting at? It's so subtle that it's barely a conversation or considered suspenseful. There were a lot of character things that I felt like that, asking "Why would they choose this?" then I read some of the comics and was like "Oh, it's accurate." except for Black Sky, what was that?
“Yeah, I love this character so so much, they’re my babey and I care them”
”Then why did you just put them through an emotional and physical ringer and leave them scarred in more ways than one?!”
”I love this character.”
Loving a character and hurting them are not mutually exclusive!! In fact in some cases (like me) they’re mutually inclusive
Yup! That's the way of oc creation! I started doing this since I was young teenager.
I think I just like to write damaged characters overcoming hardships and turning out for the better. The problem is how bad I made those hardships-
OKAY SO I HAVE TO WORK DURING THE MASS EFFECT REVEAL SHIT SO WHICH OF YOU GUYS IS GONNA SEND ME MESSAGES ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS AS IT HAPPENS?????

And I think there is just a whole lot we are all wasting time worrying about that does not truly, actually matter.
