But my company now has these machines that break down all the time and have one thing or another wrong with them, say the binding machine for instance, right now its alignment isn't working because you tighten and loosen but it doesn't matter, the books don't stay aligned and throw off the dropper which when that goes wrong, it throws off the cutter and when that's thrown off- it just creates disaster because every piece is integral to the process.

Instead, it's been a running gag among the other employees that I didn't like the boxing. Of course I didn't you moron! I was being honest and how is that funny enough to you to bring up regularly. I'm not the work horse, you have newer employees and even they are making fun at that fact, like wtf, choose someone else to make the victim!

"Oh, your girlfriend is coming? What if you guys broke up? Would you still work here?" Well what if you got divorced? What if your wife DIED?? Would you keep working then?? Anything can happen, a lot of married couples work there, why am I excluded? Because I don't have kids? None of your business. That's not all I'm excluded from either.

I had a thought last week seeing one of the new people on a machine I didn't recognize (that ended up just being a bigger version of the one he uses) and I had the thought that he'd learn more machines than me before me (you get paid the more you learn apparently) it scares and worries me because it's not too dissimilar to other jobs I've had where people make more or get promoted when I've got seniority.

Well turns out my girlfriend is being bombarded with work and has already learned everything I have in a month in just her first week. She got a welcome packet, jacket, beanie, extra shirt, I didn't get any of that. I don't understand why it always seems to me that I get treated differently and they wonder why I seem so miserable all the time "oh, it can't be helped." Or maybe I don't deserve it? But then they pull a 180 and say that I learned the job super fast, meanwhile one of the other new employees is going on 3 weeks and he's always asking for help. I don't get what they want from me, I don't like what I don't like, I deal with it, I shouldn't be punished for it. I'm doing the overtime but I'm not getting any added benefit other than pay. I don't care that it's "tax season", if I can't get it done in 8 hour days so be it.
