🌽🌞Presented with no explanation, because why would it need explanation?
the lost solorn records, vol. 1
Rated: T
Nico di Angelo/Percy Jackson
word count: 2.3k
Tags: ambiguous but probable infidelity, drinking, language, will solace bashing, established solangelo but not tagging as that bc that's foolish, crack,
Summary: Sometimes, being a good friend is meeting up for a drink and letting the guy you have a crush on complain about all the obnoxious - and bizarre, like surprisingly bizarre - stuff his boyfriend does.
Author's note: this is very serious to me, it is only labeled as crackfic because that's how it'll seem to the uninitiated. but someday, you'll see. you'll ALL see.
fellow visionary @owlintheskies made beautiful artwork, which is honestly so much better than my nonsense cough medicine idea deserves. 🌽🌞
🌽🌞 Once again, can't imagine why you'd need any context?

Will Solace/Corn, Nico di Angelo/Percy Jackson
word count: 1.3k
Tags: Hot sexy corn action (and a little not-corn action), past Solangelo, Past Infidelity, briefly referenced pre-teen jerking off
Summary: Corn on the cob and the 4th of July are a match made in heaven Will Solace's mouth.
Author's summary: uncovered field notes from an anonymous source at CHB's annual July 4th BBQ with a first hand account of Will's 100% canon love of corn and tacky poser beach jewelry.
"A possible alternative to Niko's Paintchat: Open Canvas 1.1 has the same ability to allow two people to draw on the same canvas and if you connect via Hamachi, it's easier."
Suggested by solorn. Addressed by caustic sugar, rhiou.
First off, for anyone interested in learning how to use this feature on Open Canvas 1.1:
Some things you need to know about using this feature:
networking is only available in oc1.1
there are two versions floating around oc1.1b72 and oc1.1b68
both host and users should have the same version of open canvas to prevent crashing
oc1.1b72 can be downloaded here
apparently just using oc limits it to 4 people being able to participate
hamachi has a 6 person limit but everyone must be running hamachi
and nsocs can run more than both and only the host must be running nsocs
more info here
TRUE: If it works and you can do it right, with experience, you can make really amazing pieces.
HOWEVER:
caustic sugar: we'll have to discuss its effectiveness/reliability/ease of access/use, because it's not much help putting it up when only a couple of mentors/students know how to use it * U *
rhiou: I have the same versions and am aware of what they can do but I don't think I'll be implementing it for Project REDLINE for a number of unfortunate reasons:
oC v1.1 has become rather obsolete ):
most of the artists who use it are long-time artists and not likely to become a student of P:R;
it's also very confusing to use for many who are not familiar with the oC program or their interfaces;
instead of simply making an account like with p-chat, to use that feature on oC would require both parties to download Hamachi (which sometimes like to be for derpy for no good reason), the program AND know how to use it;
and it would also be hard for me to record the sessions on our Project Archive @__@
Thanks for the idea, solorn, but I don't think we'll be using oC 1.1 p-chat as an official thing, although you're welcome to inquire if a specific mentor has it and to ask to set a private session that way, if you just give me heads up beforehand. (:
An extra final note: I believe that @P:R, only I (rhiou) and Hello Santa have experience using this feature and program.
