Had so much fun putting these together! @talitasami pulled off the vision with the artwork :") I wanted it to be focused on the sexy dancing and club vibes. The details on the posters behind Wolfstar are sooo cute. Also, Remus' eyebrow ring? The tattoos on Sirius and Reg? Sirius' see-through shirt? James "I only have eyes for Regulus" Potter helloooo? YUMMMM. The disco balls were perhaps a creative decision, but I stand by it lol.

Back before I was a jegulus convert I knew I would be reading this Hanahaki fic because I am truly powerless against the yearn. The pine. And this fic is a classic for a reason - it is so so good.

I knew I needed a cover with flowers/blossoms and when I came across this gorgeous Sakura cover I thought “easy enough!” WRONG!! I am not exaggerating when I say I spent 10 hours on these covers - tracing, cutting, weeding, applying HTV to bookcloth and THEN applying to the case to get the seamless wrap around (so stressful). I was TIRED when all was said and done 😅 but I LOVE how they turned out. Honorable mentions to the sewn endbands and typeset details. So when I go on a paperback bender to decompress after a vintage bind, now you know 😉

ysuft seems like one of those fics that you think will be a cute summer vaca one time read, but end up getting so emotionally attached to it's leaves you reeling.

the overall concept is quite cliche— a summer getaway for people that need a break— but the way the fic dwelves into every character's trauma and manages to make these characters's pain real is what you really get attached to.

this fic has some of my favorite jegulus, wolfstar, dorlene and black brother fluff— which is saying a lot considering how much i read.

the biggest stand out, though, to me was how the dance and music culture was so deeply ingrained into the whole story. honestly by the end of this fic, i was in love with not js the characters but the culture too.

a must read for anybody looking for a comfort fic with the perfect amount of angst, comedy and music <333
