She heaves a heavy sigh as the height of her orgasm starts to fade. "I told you the pleasure is all mine, but I sure hope you enjoyed yourself as well."

Kenrir is attempting to catch his breath, his brow is dusted with sweat. "I am certain my enjoyment is evident, your Grace.." Solle quirks her brow, "I am not blind 'sir' but I will ask courteously for your opinion. Was it satisfactory?"

Kenrir was tall with sinewy muscles down his frame. He had broad shoulders, but not bulky. He had scars traveling down his back and over some key areas of his body, almost like killshots, but somehow he still stands. He had silvery grey hair and piercing crystal blue eyes. High cheekbones and a squared jaw. His lips are thin, but they were magic between her thighs.

"More than satisfactory, my lady. I daresay, it has been one of the most overindulgent nights of my life." Solle snaps to his eyes. So crystal clear....he is not lying about that at least.. She recalls last night and the overabundance of red wine and the circumstances leading to her still naked bed partner.. She smiles at him, "Wonderful. Breakfast?"

Vhellig wakes with a scream in her throat-something is pulling her arm off! Wait- the last thing she remembers is the big ugly Orc dislocated her elbow when she was not willing to get him into Solles room. Like hell she wanted to go in there and expose her friend. She did not recognize the big guy, but she knew the Orc was here to kill. He smelled of death. When the brute forced her to the door she cursed and hoped Solle at least had the mind to be cautious. Her life is in such a state of constant alarm. Vhel wonders how Solle can relax at all.

She looks to her arm and sees the Elf Solle brought to her room, Kenner? Kerreer? Ken-something something-eer. He is slowly bending her arm testing the movement.

Solle was holding her down and visibly relaxes when she sees Vhel come to. Solle hugs her best friend, the gash on her head is superficial, but any head wound bleeds profusely and looks like a battle wound. Vhellig relaxes just a touch, “Can I have my arm back now?” Kenrir releases her arm after another moment of inspection. “You will feel it for a day, but it is put back in.”

“Thanks. Where is Ugly? I hope you gutted him.” Solle gives a shrug, “You weren’t dead, and he gave us info- so I let him leave.” “Oh, GODS! No you did not! I need to kick his ass! Lemme up! I am gonna kill ‘em myself…. You don’t let assassins go Sol. They CAN’T be trusted. He smelled of Death and I don’t want to know how many more he will kill.”

Solle holds her friends hand. “Vhel, listen. Come sit down and let’s talk some more, do you want a drink? I have some red wine as long as THAT isn’t poisoned” Kenrir helps them both up minding Vhelligs arm.

He smirks “Only the Tea, I assure you.” Vhel gasps, “Only the…. Tee….Wait… Am I missing something?!?” With another shrug from Solle she says “Uh, yeah we have some catching up to do. Here.” Solle hands Vhellig the whole bottle, uncorked.

Vhel is looking back and forth between the two “I think you should start at the beginning. Wait….” Vhel swigs the bottle up and she downs the contents of the bottle in a few gulps. “Now…. Start.” Solle gets a smirk to her face- “well my mom and dad had sex 27 years ago…” “SOL! Gods not that beginning….”

She is seething on the inside but her years of conditioning keeps her outward appearance calm and collected. She could incapacitate him now, call the guards and send him off. What does she do with the genuine attraction she has for him? Her night has been phenomenal and Kenrir called her by name. Gods! The entire evening it has been “Your Grace” he could have let her drink the tea and slip out. So with a few scenarios fresh in her mind. She allows the next question determine where to go from here. “Tell me the truth, Who sent you?”

He purses his lips together, but decides he is not going back. “ I was hired by a Lord that wants to keep the states warring” Solle refuses to show how stupid she feels. She was ready to ask him to stay and get more time to learn of one another. She believed in their attraction and was hoping for more- but here he is now revealing that he is just a hired assassin that only took the job because it was double his normal bounty, and even after their amazing evening together he planned to see it through until the last moment. She felt gutted. Used. A task. Again. She takes a large double breath and shakes out her shoulders, the urge to kill something rising. “The Goblins never told me the lords name, but I am certain I can narrow it down for you.” Solle stops and stares. “YOU, will narrow it down, for ME?! Five minutes ago I was your target and now you want to help me?!? WHY?” Kenrir stands to his feet but approaches her slowly, “Because Solle,We connected last night. I felt it deep within me- it struck at my hollow empty chest and filled me with something…. *sigh* ….unfamiliar to me. And after thinking about it all night and all morning. I could not bear to lose your spark from this world. As you said, I have entwined our fates. I hope you will not untangle them yet. Give me the chance to show you what I can do.”

Solle felt the solid, truth from the look in his eyes. She KNOWS his words to be true. Truer than any words spoken to her ever. So she steps closer to him and places her hands on his chest. “Show me what you can do. After you make it up to me with your mouth again.” Kenrir grips her hips roughly. With a rumble to his chest he lowly replies, “With pleasure, Your Grace.”

Kenrir pours her a drink of the local fruit freshly squeezed and combined with mint for a refreshing taste. It seems Solle is as parched as he is from all of the activities they enjoyed last night.

Solle looks him in the eyes. "Kenrir, tell me truthfully. Do you believe in fate?"

"No, Your Grace. I do not."

" Well I do. Fate has brought you to me, and I thank her for it. Even if it will only last an evening.... *large yawn* other times it will be fates choice to keep us together longer. I hope the latter."

The assassin is perplexed... she wants.... to spend more time with him? He rubs his jaw and grips the table with his other hand. Why? Solle smirks. Kenrir fears he asked the question outloud because of her reaction. She continues, " Don't worry, I cannot read minds. I just read bodies well, and you are like an open book to me. I have some abilities as a Princess. None of them are amazing though. My abilities come from the years and years of training and classes I took. The real world hitting me square in the nose when my parents died and forced me to grow the hell up. The common sense to know when I was getting groomed for leader of my tribe, I would have so many obstacles ahead.... I could be bitter and fight fate hard over all the things given to me. Or I can do the best I possibly can with what fate throws at me, and enjoy the company she brings."

His crystal blue eyes freeze her to the spot.

"Fate is not real. It does not bring you a single thing. It is a concept you tell young children to get them to wrap their head around taking your direction. Listening to the adults, grooming you as you say.... into what they want. Not fates. No..... I do not believe such trivial things. The adults and the leaders are the ones pulling the strings. And always for themselves."

" Well I might be a new 'leader' but I am in it all for my tribe and this alliance with our Forest Elf bretheren. I do not get to think of myself at all until this constant state of affairs is resolved." Her eyes turn dark. "Last night and our dalliance was the most out of character thing I have done since the Great Dam burst last year." She looks down and sighs heavily, the last words are muttered; "My life is for my people."

Something in his chest thuds as he sees her vulnerable in that moment. He reaches for their drinks, and allows Solle a silent reprieve.. Kenrir thinks back on the last conversation with her enemies

<A WEEK EARLIER>

Kenrirs hair blows in the breeze. The edge of the forest is hugged up against the side of a mountain. It is almost like the forest is holding the mountain up with how thick the foliage is. Keeping himself in an open area exposes any that want to come near him. Luckily he could smell the messengers before he saw them.

Goblins have a wet grass smell that never goes away. Some find the odor pleasant, their passive demeanor makes it tolerable in these instances. The tallest of the group speaks perfect Elvish: " Are you Kenrir?"

" Yes. What is the task?"

"Assassinate the Orc Princess. Keep this state in turmoil. You will be compensated greatly."

" The Orc Princess is never unattended. You would have to be very stupid to try to get close to her and take her out ."

"For this we know you are the best. And for this you will get DOUBLE your normal fee."

Kenrir whistles. " That is a mighty fee, what is the time limit?" The Goblin snorts, "Sooner than later. You might want to know that In a week, there is a banquet for the Forest Elves and the Orc Tribe. Kill her then. It will keep our Lord happy to see the chaos around all that 'elegance'. For it is a better opportunity than any of the other times."
