So I decided not to practice for this week because I need more time to rest but I made this day productive. I got a video of Sol Gabetta's Concert and she played the Haydn in C. I can say she is really a badass in cello world!!. I analyze the way she played the concerto and I can say she is really awesome. Here are my analyzation in every movement: 1st Mvt: - strokes are short and light. Lighter stroke for clearer sound. - precise notes - very good bow distribution and really planned. - though different cadenza, still so great! 2nd Mvt: -focused tone -not afraid in expressing the notes. - CLEARER NOTES!! - Higher registers- clearer! And more sound!! -more emotions! - express the notes to make it clearer tone. - MEAT!!! - push the notes!! - different Cadenza 3rd Mvt: - CLEARER / CLARITY OF NOTED EVEN FAST PASSAGES!! -lighter bow with control - double stops- clean and clear BADASS!!!! So there you have it, I learned a lot to her interpretation and hope I could apply it soon 8|14|16
