I heavily head cannon that the Apollo,Dionysus and Aphrodite kids have a camp musical under chirons nose, Mr d is the director. Then to pick the musical the let everyone participating get to put a name in a bowl and the head consular of Dionysus cabin picks (will isn’t involed Normally).
One year it was hadestown because a Hermes kid participating thought it was funny and the Aphrodite cabin fell in love with the idea. So happy the papers were for hades town, and it got picked and they were going through casting they thought Nico would be perfect for hades (he was and still is), Nico didn’t think so. So they hatched a plan the Apollo kids begged will to play Persephone and he couldn’t say no to his siblings. After that piper got involved by her siblings she was told/forced to tell Nico that if he played hades he would get to proper dance with will, Nico finds the idea of that romantic and agrees to play his dad. (Btw both will+ Nico are good at singing and are capable of playing their roles, and Persephone is genderbent will still wears a dress though). Anyways so they get casted (drew gets casted as as Eurydice and Lee is casted as orpheus, pollux get cast has Hermes) and hypes builds up for the show so much hype that Hades andPersephone, Aphrodite and ares, Apollo, and obviously Dionysus go to see it. Nico is mortified but whatever. At the end of the shows Persephone, Aphrodite and Apollo are bawling and everything goes great.
Also Hephaestus kid are tech crew and Hermes kids are stage crew.
