[CHRONIQUES 2016] MEMORYHOUSE - SOFT HATE Dire qu’on attendait cet album du duo américain Memoryhouse est un euphémisme. Quatre ans, c’est beaucoup entre un si chouette premier album à l’infinie mélancolie et ce ‘Soft Hate’ à la maturité bien affirmée. Le groupe a profité de ces quatre années pour faire évoluer ses morceaux vers des contrées nouvelles : plus assurées, plus électroniques également, ces nouvelles compositions n’en restent pas moins toujours empreintes de cette grande bienveillance qui nous avait tant charmés par le passé. Gorgé de tubes (Dream Shake, Fate, Get Back, Sarah, pour ne citer qu’eux), ce nouvel album trouve une place de choix dans nos cœurs dès la première écoute. Merci les petits loups. Note : ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♪.

Memoryhouse “Sarah”
Ontario dream pop duo Memoryhouse released their sophomore album Soft Hate on Friday and it’s wonderful. I was already a fan after their 2012 debut The Slideshow Effect and this LP is a huge step forward for them. The latest single “Sarah” with its distinct 80′s vibe, is of the many gorgeous, ethereal gems on the album.
