i am losing my mind thinking about annabeth desigining percy’s cabin on the argo ii. Walking into Cabin 3 for inspiration and immediately seeing the minotaur horn on the wall, thinking back to the first time she ever saw him. did she go to his bed and curl up in his sheets and take a deep breath and smell salt in the air from the fountain in his room? did that give her the idea to put a sink in his cabin on the argo? did she walk down to the beach, fiddling with the piece of red coral on her camp necklace that he’d brought her from the ocean floor, and come across a beautiful conch shell on the sand and decide to design his sink after it?
did she follow behind him warily as he walked to his room for the first time, nervous about his reaction? he remembers her but she has no idea how much of himself, and them, and his old life he remembers. did he walk into the room, see the horn on the wall, the sheets, smell the salt in the air and all at once feel at home, because the room reminds him of his chb cabin and of the sea and of being a demigod and of being him, and when he thinks of all of these things he thinks of her? his tie to mortality; his tie to himself - achilles curse or not.
