Some Percy with braces percabeth headcanons (that’s a difficult phrase to read ik):
- whenever Percy gets his braces tightened, Annabeth makes sure to stock up on soft foods so it doesn’t hurt to chew
- Percy loves getting Annabeth’s favorite colors for his braces bc it makes her happy. He alternates between blue and whatever color she likes recently
- once, some kid made fun of Percy for having braces and even though it didn’t bother him much it took him back to being bullied his whole childhood. Annabeth did not let that kid get away with it
- Percy kind of likes his braces, it makes him feel like a normal kid
- Annabeth gives him gentle kisses after they get tightened, and usually only on the forehead the day right after because that’s the worst day. Percy grumbles about it but he appreciates it
- he occasionally breaks a bracket, and Annabeth teases him over it
