So this is part 4 of the SFL fanarts now (part1, part2, part3). And the first of Jenny as Hartro. I have a bunch more references I wanna do at some point for SFL but for my own sake I hope I can manage to hold back on it at least for the next two weeks. Something else is coming up though.

Anyone who enjoyed Stellar Firma or generally enjoys improv comedy should check the podcast out - it's basically a bunch of yapping and improv scenes and very very fun. tl;dr: It's 2 hours of fun, it has everything that people loved about Stellar Firma, but will also be a fun thing to watch for anyone new to Stellar Firma. It could even be a good start for anyone who is only just getting curious about the podcast.
Stellar Firma is a brilliant sci-fi semi-improvised comedy podcast featuring Ben Meredith (who many will know from the Magnus Archives where he played Elias, as well as from RQG as Zolf and Grizzop), his brother Tim Meredith (who some may know as Gammon from Trice Forgotten, he's also a professional improviser which is very relevant for Stellar Firma), Imogen Harris (who many will also know from the Magnus Archives where she played Helen - and more importantly: she is the person on this drawing!) and Jenny Haufek (who featured in the Magnus Protocols and is also professional improviser which again, very relevant for the podcast).

If you thought watching the live show of a scripted podcast (like TMA) is already pretty fun, be prepared for this one to be even more fun! A wildly chaotic, not just improvised but also fully acted out live show!

this is part 2 of my SFL fanart campaign, first one is here. I certainly wanna make more fanart and presumably more of these posts. i tried to make her hair look sparkly/metallic if anyone is wondering what's happening there.

Maybe at some point soon I can get back into the portraits I used to paint but for now I tried to do something that wouldn't take me too long and still looked decent enough.
I do wonder if I'm talking to the same people all over again about SFL or if any new person ever sees these posts. But we've been called to keep spreading the word by Tim, so here I am. Which is not true, because I was going to post this anyway! Anyway - supposedly 500 people follow the goblins podcast on tumblr and not 500 people have gotten the SFL recording yet so there must still be people on tumblr who haven't heard the good word yet.
anyway, I hope this post will reach and convince at least one more person to watch SFL or support the goblins podcast <3

Yes this is the third one now. (1st and 2nd). Maybe the last one like this because I'm starting to run out of ideas for headlines. Unlikely the last SFL art because I still have some references I definitely wanted to do. And some other ideas in general.
This one was based off of a screenshot from the video again. I'm incredibly grateful for this professional recording, that being said screenshots from it are obviously much harder to work with than the much higher resolution photos. So apologies about some of the inaccuracies. At this point every time I try to improve it I make it worse.
Another thing is that I notice I never get the expressions right. It looks fine on its own but when I compare it to the reference it's pretty different. Let's just say that Tim was not wistfully glaring into the camera on the reference. And Ben turned out a bit more ginger than on the last one but I actually like how the shading turned out.
I also just love the lighting of the show. That is something that's missing on the "Why you should watch Stellar Firma Live" list. That bisexual lighting really carried the atmosphere. Sure it is mostly this blueish purple (except when it's not) but isn't that the most beautiful color? Aside from yellow of course.
Do the Thing has their last Brighton Fringe show today and the only one I will have to miss. Good luck with the show to @stellarfirmatim, Simon and Ian!
I'm genuinely upset I will have to miss the last one even if I should consider myself lucky I got to see three. And yes I have returned safely and possibly more alive than I have ever been. I will elaborate more about the DTT shows and more in the future.
This drawing I had actually already finished before the trip, not knowing that these shirts are literally their uniforms now so they had the same outfits for this year's shows. I'm just saying this to clarify that the reference image was from older shows and not the most recent ones despite them having the exact same clothes.
More art will follow that is actually referenced from the new shows. Also presumably more SFL art again.
Off to see some very serious shows by these people this week. Laughing will be strictly forbidden. In fact, I've heard anyone who laughs will be escorted off the venue. I'll take my chances I guess. In the rare event that I make it home alive, I will report back.

I'm actually very surprised how well this one turned out. I hope everyone appreciates the background color, this exact one is my favorite color.
The reference for this is from the Visa Fundraiser stream and from all few DTT recordings out there on YouTube, this one is probably my favorite. It was exceptionally hard to choose a screenshot for reference but I'm happy with how it worked out.
