Review: The ToeBean 9000 Smart Sock – Finally, Technology for Your Feet’s Emotions
After 3 weeks with the ToeBean 9000, I can confidently say my feet are now more emotionally intelligent than my ex.
This so-called “neuro-responsive smart sock ecosystem” uses AI, Bluetooth, mild telepathy, and what I suspect is at least one haunted crystal to monitor your foot temperature, arch stress, hydration levels, and whether you’re spiritually aligned with Mercury.
Setup was easy—just download the app, input your astrological chart, scan your feet while whispering a blessing, and connect to Wi-Fi via foot Morse code. I only had to reset the router 17 times.
The real magic? Mood Vibration Feedback™. When I felt anxious, my socks gently pulsed the Morse code for “you’re valid.” When I got ghosted, they warmed my pinky toe. When I stubbed my toe on a coffee table? They filed a formal complaint to IKEA on my behalf.
But it’s not perfect. The “SockSync Social” feature lets your socks link emotionally with strangers nearby. Which is how I spent 40 minutes weeping in the pasta aisle of Noodleburg Co-op because someone three shelves over was having a breakup. Also, they try to upsell you on the ToeBean PRO, which comes with tiny voiceboxes that whisper affirmations like “You are grounded. In every sense.”
Still, would I buy again? Yes. Would I pair them with sandals and shame my ancestors? Also yes.

MissDataSoup: Do they come in goth plaid or just “Mindful Grey”?
MayorTuna: My socks fell in love with my neighbor’s slippers. There’s tension now.
