May 2019 Sock Crate Reveal
For Sock Crate this month, we switched up the bases a little bit and sent you a new favorite of mine: Delight Sport. If you got our Delight Worsted in a past KnitCrate, youâll know that the Delight âfamilyâ means bouncy-spun, 100% Superwash Merino: super soft and rich in color. This monthâs colorway is called Strawberries and is inspired by the rich reds and pinks of early-season berries.
Designer Cynthia Levy took advantage of this sweet tonal colorway with her Dancing Butterfly sock pattern. These ankle socks are the perfect thing to slip on around the house and look so cute with their adorable butterfly details!
We didnât want the Sock Crate to miss out on all the extras fun this month, either, so weâve included one of our favorite items: an eraseable pen. These pens use friction (heat) to erase what youâve written, making them perfect for marking up and making notes on your knitting patterns. The only key is not to put the pattern in the freezer later (or your secret messages will re-appear!) Weâve included the pen in a fun orange color that matches this monthâs fruit and veggie theme.
