I’m noticing the reoccurring theme with what I post:
If its more towards the edgy, tumblr stereotype, it gets more reblogs, my most reblogs is on a short post on being anti-social.
If its catered more towards a genuine, humanistic confession, it gets half the attention, if not even less.
I fear that people may be quick to relate to edgy posts as a way to show anger, and come across interesting as oppose to understanding of the disorders and avoiding self diagnosis. That is not a desire of this blog.
I’d like to hear some of your thoughts on this? Do you think there is a toxic subculture to mental health? Or do you think some people just share a similar sense of anger and misunderstanding?Â
