For the @gosummerbang, I had the pleasure of drawing for @on1occasionfork's story again!!
----
Who would've thought a romance could work so well in a dry cleaning AU? But somehow it does, and I'm so grateful for the existence of this story.
I especially loved the art-house cinema feel throughout it. The quiet moments where they communicate almost entirely through eye contacts, expressions, and body language (and yes, it'll all make sense later in the story).
----
The first chapter of To Form and Dignity is out now, and I highly recommend giving it a read!
I'm linking Fork's post instead of the fic directly because Tumblr will absolutely kill this post otherwise. 😭

A Summer Omens Big Bang collab by @maon25 (art) and me (story)
Read here on AO3 (G, 8k)
Look at all the amazing art by @maon25 :
In chapter 5 🔝
In chapter 2 🔝
In chapter 1 🔝
Summary:
It’s summer once more in Kensington Gardens.
The white marble statue of an Angel, half hidden under a canopy of trees, is content enough with his life, his animal friends in the park, the here and now.
Until an unusual Black Nightingale lands on his left wing and sings to him stories of woe, of mystery, of a dear friend lost, of his quest to find the love of his life again.
Every summer, the Nightingale, who remembers only fragments of what really happened to himself and his long-lost soulmate, revisits the Marble Angel, having gathered more hints and ✨Clues✨ to help his quest. The Angel’s marble heart melts with empathy for him, and with other feelings that seem new - but are they?
~~~
This is a romantic fairytale, inspired by Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Happy Prince’, retelling Good Omens in symbolic language.
Super excited to finally get to share the artwork I've made for this year's Good Omens Summer Bang. This rather sultry Crowley goes with Chapter 6 of @thinkinginscripts 's wonderful summer holiday fling fic "One Last Hurrah". Do give it a read to see what put that smile on Crowley's face.
One Last Hurrah - Chapter 1 - AlwaysTuesdayToday, Thinkinginscripts - Good Omens - All Media Types [Archive of Our Own]
P.S - Prints of this and many more of my Good Omens artworks available at my Inprnt shop, and you can buy originals on Ko-fi.
For ten summers, famed sci-fi author Anthony J Crowley and literary darling Aziraphale Fell return to Northwoods, a prestigious writing institute tucked beside a Minnesota lake.
Every year they sit on the same dock and watch the herons.
Year after year, their friendship becomes the fixed point around which both their lives quietly turn.
Crowley spends a decade believing Aziraphale is his best friend.
Aziraphale spends a decade believing Crowley will never love him back.
They are both wrong.
A story about friendship becoming love, summer traditions, patient birds, one very important dock, and two middle-aged idiots who take ten years to figure out what they mean to each other.
This is a human AU featuring mutual pining, middle-aged romance, and a happy ending.
My heartfelt thanks to @thinkinginscripts for helping me figure out what story I really wanted to tell. Somewhere along the many conversations we had about it I realized that, beneath the writing institute, the lake, and ten summers of friendship, this was ultimately a love story.
Thank you as well to @thinkinginscripts and @maon25 for beta reading and much thoughtful feedback throughout the writing process.
With thanks to @gosummerbang for creating this bang space for us 💛 and to @becky-7750 for this beautiful illustration.
I just finished posting my Summer Bang fic, One Last Hurrah (28k, M), so if you don't do WIPs, then this is ready-to-read.
It's a human AU, about Aziraphale having "one last hurrah" - a solo holiday in Valencia, before he starts a new job. Crowley is a tour guide. Cue a Shirley Valentine-esque holiday fling (but with a happy ending).
I got matched with traditional artist @alwaystuesday for this Bang, which meant the fic includes this amazing watercolour pencil picture of Crowley waking up in a Spanish hotel. Always Tuesday was incredibly kind enough to send me the original!! But you can actually buy the print here.
This is part of the @gosummerbang collection, have a look at the other fics and art with a summer theme on AO3
Y’all might have seen the posts @anixfelix has been putting up about the old eBay VHS find we stumbled upon. They’ll have to tell the story in full, but let me just say, it’s a doozy. Full of men-in-black and nondescript faces and NDAs. Technically, we’re not meant to speak a word of what’s on this tape. That’s where ao3 comes in. No one can object to me writing a little “fanfic” about the story, right?
Okay, y’all, I’m bad at the meta-lore stuff. AnixFelix is a bajillion times better. Also this post was meant to go up on Tuesday. Sorry – preparing for an international move while also trying to finalize a divorce that was meant to finalize two months ago is a BITCH. Better late than never, right?
Without further ado, I present to you the first chapter of The Haunting of Beryl House, Ghost in the Window. Crowley and Aziraphale arrive at Beryl House to investigate the (potentially) haunted adult summer camp, and Things begin to happen. Excerpt:
[Transcript from raw footage: To Catch a Ghost: Beryl House]
Aziraphale: Today, we are on location at Beryl House, a former girls’ school that closed down in the late 1950s. Since then, the building has belonged to a series of owners who have tried to repurpose the place as a local hospital, a convent, a dance school for the “Ladies of Camelot” troupe—
Crowley: Possibly a brothel, that one.
Aziraphale [looking scandalized]: Don’t say such things, you fiend!
Read the full chapter out on ao3!
And of course, I can now reveal the full glory of AnixFelix’s art!
Absolutely frickin’ brilliant!
The Haunting of Beryl House was written for the Summer Omens Big Bang. Thanks to the organizers at @gosummerbang for the incredible work put into this one! Thanks to my betas, @ineffablerainstorm, @sakascal, and @stupidphototricks for all their hard work and patience, too!
See y’all next week for Chapter 2! In the meantime, enjoy! (Or else.)
Chapters 1 and 2 for my Summer Omens Big Bang fic are up!
Featuring art by the FABULOUS @hogs-and-ham!! Isn't it gorgeous??
Summary:
Self-proclaimed daredevil Anthony Crowley is pretty content with his life - he's got a great job as a journalist at the Celestial Observer, he spends his free time chasing the next adrenaline rush, and he has some really great friends, including the fussy and endearing Aziraphale Fell.
There's just one small problem - Crowley is smitten with Aziraphale, and Aziraphale is engaged to someone else. How will our hero cope?
When an opportunity arises for Crowley to travel and write reviews for vacation properties owned by Eden Holdings, Inc., he jumps at the chance. Crowley decides to invite Aziraphale along on his trip, both to help Crowley write the articles and to celebrate Aziraphale's upcoming wedding. Aziraphale almost doesn’t agree to go - but at the last second, and for reasons he doesn’t share with Crowley, Aziraphale changes his mind.
While on the road Aziraphale and Crowley grow closer than ever as they travel to amusement parks, mountainside and beachside resorts, and a cabin deep in the Great Smoky Mountains. Revelations are had, secrets are finally shared, and both Aziraphale and Crowley are taken on a journey of self-discovery that leaves them forever changed.
