Cold, Rigid, and Controlled

The social subtype transforms the fire of anger into the coldness of a stone. Their self-image demands the detachment from any sign of spontaneity and warmth.

Independent

“My way is better” is what they learned to think. The need to belong of the social instinct makes them unable to give in to the other, there's a counterdependent attitude in which they must find their own way of doing things, so as to say “You see, father? I don't need your help”.

Arrogant, Feels Superior

Mentioned in Naranjo's 27 personajes, this subtype has a teacher mentality. Close to the previous trait, there's a resistance to let go of their mentality, thoughts, morals, and an aristocratic superiority of devaluing the way others live.

Virginal Character

They grew up with a taboo over sexuality, often seen as something dirty, despicable, inferior. In anger there's an ideal of purification that puts the SO 1 in their idealized sense of excellence.

Juditious and Far-Sighted

Like with Sherlock Holmes, a representative of this subtype, we see a sober-mindness deeply capable of analysis and rational insight, but within the context of wanting to be seen as such. In Naranjo's words: “What is the main characteristic of Sherlock Holmes? Although surely the first thing that comes to mind is insight, it may be more accurate to say that it is not simply an insight based on exceptional intelligence, but on the motivation to be insightful on the part of someone who, of course, had the necessary intelligence to afford it.”

Denied People-Pleaser

We can understand social Anger as the perfectionist intent to be seen as admirable and accepted, which started by trying to get the father's approval. However, there's a need for independence that denies it, and they'll spend their lives doing things to be approved thinking they don't need anyone or anything.

Critical and Disgusted

Criticism and disgust are a indirect expression of anger that both expresses their superiority and the resentment from others. Cold stares, arrogant grumbles, turning to the other side, silently retreating are all ways of expressing the disapproval of others, a paternalistic attitude that reproduces the lack of love their own father gave them when they wer younger.

Responsible

They don't mind being followers instead of leaders, what is important is occuping a place they can show their skills, with a seemingly humility and indifference to praise and status. It's the aristocracy of a nobleman.
