Buck looks towards Eddie who has an amused smile on his face. Buck rolls his eyes as shakes the flour out of his hair.

“I don’t like saying, ‘I told you so’, but-” Eddie starts.

“The hell you don’t, it’s your favourite phrase.”

Eddie chuckles.

“Not funny, Eddie.” Buck pouts.

“Well I mean, I did tell you to not reach for the flour without a stool. I know you’re tall but you’re not that tall.” Eddie grins.

Buck groans, “Alright, fine! I’m sorry. I should’ve listened to you.”

“That’s what you say everytime I say ‘I told you so’.” Eddie replies with a raised eyebrow.

“Yeah, yeah, are you gonna help me clean this or not?” Buck asks reaching for the broom.

“Nope.” Eddie smirks.

“Eddie! C’mon man. Bobby is gonna kill me if he comes in here to find his kitchen destroyed.”

Eddie laughs again.

“Eddie, you’re a jerk. I’m off in 10 minutes, you know this. I gotta get Christopher from school too. You’re here till 6!”

“Well, I mean...”

“OKAY! Yes I get it. You’re always right and I’m dumb.” Buck exclaims.

“Wow, hey nobody said anything about you being dumb, baby. Sometimes you just take shortcuts to do things quicker, and sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. It happens. You go clean yourself up and go. I’ll take care of this.” Eddie says moving closer to Buck as he gestures to the flour covering the floor.

“God, you’re the best. I love you.” Buck says as he leans in closer to press a kiss to Eddie’s lips.

Eddie kisses him back, “I love you too.”

Buck beams at him before moving to head downstairs. He doesn’t get very far, he slips on the flour covered floor and right into Eddie.

Eddie grabs him around the waist with one hand and tries to grab the table with his other hand but he misses and they both go crashing to the floor.

“Ow!” Eddie complains as Buck lands on top of him, knocking the wind out of him.

“Oh my god, babe, I’m so sorry. Are you okay?” Buck asks as he pushes himself up so he’s not crushing Eddie.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m good. Just a little winded.” Eddie replies.

Buck brings his knees up and sits up so he’s stradding Eddie’s lap. He pulls Eddie up so he’s sitting up too with Buck in his lap.

Eddie wraps his arms around him, pulling him closer.

“If only we were somewhere other than at work.” Eddie says, tilting his head up for another kiss.

Buck smiles big, dimples showing. His eye catches the clock behind Eddie before he could lean in.

“Shit! I gotta go pick up Christopher.”

Eddie pouts at the denied kiss. Buck looks at him before giving him a quick kiss and scrambling to get off him.

“I’ll thank you better tonight for cleaning this up, baby. Love you, bye!” He yells as he rushes down the stares.

SOOOO SWEET. And Nik’s message is so amazing, I don’t personally know him but I’m still proud of him too!
