Every major arc/event goes through a cycle of: introduce new rival, new rival has an alternate relationship path, mild NTR via rivalry with Isagi, resolution reached with Isagi's win. Other characters make guest appearances, for example Hiori in NEL. U20 also relevant because while they're siblings (and I'm not trying to imply anything romantic here, that is up to you to consider--) Sae and Rin essentially play out the same pattern with Rin notably becoming most competitive with Isagi after this due to Sae's recognition of Isagi (and lack thereof towards Rin). The pattern was broken thanks to Loki's badass self-confidence lmao.

Bunny and Sae are pending; in the group art of the NG11 it's Sae looking with determination/resentment at him without acknowledgement on Bunny's end which is interesting because it's paralleling the Rin -> Sae -> Isagi situation in the U20 arc.

I finished it :з. Ngl, it was maybe a little, but a challenge. I rarely draw smth out of characters I usually draw. So im sorry in advance if smth is off or drawn not right. But generally it was unique experience

(Amadeo(?) if I remember right?). Maybe the proportions I usually use when I draw differs from yours I guess. Drawing hair was difficult as im not used to it, but generally I enjoyed drawing this one.

Im ngl, yours were quite difficult, but still interesting to draw. As I had a color palette only for one, only one is colored. Why would I generally color?. Idk I had time to.

i have this image ive yet to incorporate into any of my writing where ice spends his whole life with the USNA ring on the fourth finger of his right hand & feels a little imbalanced. something’s missing. & then he marries maverick, and he has the wedding ring on the fourth finger of his left hand, and finally he is complete. he has both. he is both a great officer and someone capable of love. neither side is subservient to the other anymore. they coexist in harmony at the end of the day. and of course that’s something maverick would respect.
