there are some really decent slice of life groups out there right now, but the members are trash and don't get on to actually write. you can make the best of any rp but you have to actually put in the work to make it what you want. i see loads of rps as of late, as I am in three right now, where people join and don't get on to do a single reply. unfortunately that's the norm atm.

i just joined this new acotar group that could have had some potential but it's a real bummer that not one of the admins appear to actually care about the group itself. just the ships they already established beforehand. i am so tired of feeling as though i want a group to succeed more than the people who created and control it. but that's just the new normal now i guess
yeah idk it's difficult to have expectations for how others run their groups , because more often than not those expectations aren't being met anyway ( everyone just has a different idea of what makes a group engaging , yk ? ) . at the end of the day , if the admins are content with how they're running things , there's not much you can really do to change that . ig your only options are either to join the admin team & help them or just make your own group
how would you handle it if you knew someone in the community was stealing the work of others? there's an admin out there who actively plagiarizes and i'm not sure the best way to warn others, especially since she frequently pops into every new server in the tags.
i'd say try and talk to the admin / the group first ? see if things can be resolved without any third parties getting involved . if not then i'd probably reach out to an rpt instead , & if they're willing to help , i'd include receipts too so they can verify everything for themselves & know it's a legitimate concern

some people really need to touch grass. just go into a server if it seems cool and if, once you're in it, it doesn't seem that fun anymore or the admin is someone you don't like, just leave. it's really that simple. some of you are getting way too attached to shit like roleplay and people behind a screen, while none of this matters in life.

i always ask for admins especially considering thereโs a few right now that have opened a new server a week and ditch it for the next one before it can even take off,,,, but do not harass them either. send an anon in and if they reply, they reply. if they donโtโฆ take that as a sign and join another group. harassing anyone about anything is childish.
