okayokayokay so i have *kind of* written something for this here but i have no idea how to turn snades from a headcanon to an actual fic but adding onto the headcanon, @eliza-is-tired came up with an idea in shrekmet (pssttt you should join it's a fun time):
hades has mad hayfever. so when he goes up top to visit persephone in summer, in his snakey form, seph can hear him coming because what the hell kind of snake s n e e z e s, you know? so for however long he stays up persephone tries to nurse him but it's very difficult because
(a) can you imagine trying to give a snake antihistamines??
(b) hades would never admit to have allergies
so it just results in a very grumpy snades who can't speak so expresses his frustration in snake body language? and a persephone who finds it increasingly difficult to hide how funny she finds it all
