Hey I'm really curious about your mask lore? Do you have a tag/larger post about it?
i donāt actually think iāve tagged it? but the masks are worn by dead dragons (ghosts or reanimated corpses, v.common in dragonhome). if a dragon dies in their gijinka form it means that they can no longer assume a dragon form, which is contrary to how they lived their lives before dying. therefore they wear masks evoking their lost dragon forms for day-to-day business in the village of the dead
living merchants who trade with the dead must wear masks while inside the village but in general only dead dragons wear masks like that

Wow, it's almost like depression is a psychological issue and not based directly off of things going on in life. It's almost like there could possibly be chemical imbalances or other contributing factors, lady. She can't decide that because things are going well in life, that you don't deal with depression. Shame on her.
Exactly! I am Bipolar Type II and Iāve always swung toward depression. Like, itās been on my momās side of the family for centuries. Iām related to Mary Todd Lincoln for cripeās sake. Itās not something I can fucking help and this is literally the first time Iāve started going out of the house in THREE YEARS so like, fuck her. Iām talking to my therapist about it on Monday because group doesnāt feel like a safe space anymore.

You know what? Fuck her! She doesn't get to decide if group therapy is something you need or something that helps you. You get to decide that, okay, Hun? She only gets to know what you let her know, right? You just remember that. They don't really know you.
They really donāt. I mean, I wasĀ abused physically and mentally throughout my childhood and on top of that, I have genetic depression and anxiety. I donāt get to decideĀ to not be depressed.
