flashing lights, this is what she wants. the roar of applause, it’s what she feels in her veins. or so she believes, tries to convince herself of since weeks. her smile isn’t nearly as bright it used to be, doesn’t reach her eyes anymore. it’s true -- she hates this, hates this so much that she tells herself she’d be better without it. everyone around her is oblivious to her real feelings, to the loneliness that’s been consuming her awhole. the latest incident surely does not make anything better ; a threat has reached her management a few days ago, something about a plan of two men and an attack on the idol. security has tightened ever since, her manager denying any ideas of canceling the concert, however. a healthy distraction from the storminess in her life comes in form of a boy around her age. he looks much younger than the rest, has rise approach him with a grin and a tap on the shoulder.
