Maybe I'm missing something but Miss Information didn't just "do nothing" during the pilot? She gained information through the Floaties to figure out the mechanics of the bosses so she could relay that information to Fold for him to give to Flappers.

She also used a Floatie to spy on Kaboodle and Snappers, she says this very thing in the episode.

She gained information (ha) on who the specific Farcade agents they went up against, which supplied Malice and Mayhem the motivation and opportunity to go after Kit and Kaboodle.

The only reason I can see why one would believe she didn't do anything is she never attacked anyone. This is just speculation, but she may not have had a role in the game she was from that involved her being a fighter. Kit, Kaboodle, Flappers, and Fold all get into fights because that's what they were programmed to do. Based on her name and the way she ragebaits Fold at the beginning, many people assume Miss Information was a Navi-type character who gave tips to the "player".

Even still, she was ready and willing to take on Kit and Gobbles before being stopped by Fold.

Fold and Miss Information simply have different roles as agents of Syntax. I would even argue that Fold would not have been able to get Flappers to win if she weren't there. Miss Information is just as useful as Fold, and she had a role during the pilot.
