hey so i read this anti post that "proved" snape's obsession with lily because his patronus was the exact same as lily's, as opposed to the other gender (like james's). what do you think?
That’s one of the oldest and dumbest arguments that has been debunked so many times it’s funny. Obsession can’t make a patronus, pure love can. There’s a wizard who tried to make a patronus but since he was wicked, he only produced maggots. No Death Eater can produce a patronus except the one Death Eater who defected many years ago. It’s extremely likely that Severus used memories from the friendship he had with Lily to form his patronus, you know back when they were both children. Not to mention only James Potter’s patronus is known, Lily’s is never shown. Harry only assumes again because the essence of the Patronus comes from the memory of Lily.
SNAPE HEADCANON
Severus Snape’s Animagus form is, in fact, a fly.
His daily routine is to transform into a fly, zoom around Hogwarts for a bit, eavesdrop on students’ conversations, see if Harry is up to something, spy on Voldemort as a fly, then go and teach.
At the beginning of every school year, Dumbledore warns all students to not kill any flies they see around campus. When students realize that Snape’s Animagus form is a fly, they get paranoid, especially Harry. Once, a Slytherin first-year cried for an entire day because she accidentally squashed a fly which turned out not to be Snape.
When Harry and his Gryffindor friends start to annoy him, Snape goes poof and vanishes into thin air. Particularly vicious students who hate Snape carry around a flyswatter. If he sees anyone killing a fly, they are put in immediate detention.
Once, Harry was on his way to the Restricted Section of the library at night when Snape was on patrol. When he waved the annoying fly away from his head, he was greeted with a very angry Snape and assigned a week of detentions.
At some Death Eater meetings, Voldemort mutters something to Lucius about his house containing annoying flies and Snape has to bite his cheek to stop himself from laughing.

Bespoke: the potion job is so exhausting. Apart from teaching. He needed to brew potion for hospital wing and his colleague. He also had to restock his potion ingredients. Some of them were hard to obtain.
