David Tennant explains that it’s Crowley’s world and we’re living in it
@tropic-of-calculus requested a post about slytherins being perfectionists.
-
Slytherins tend to be perfectionists, mostly due to their pride. They refuse to produce work that they aren’t proud of and that doesn’t represent them well. Especially when it’s work done for the sake of people they care about. Their loyalty to their loved ones and their pride come together into a perfect storm of over achieving and working tirelessly to churn out the best results that they can. This can be incredibly frustrating and draining, especially when the results of their work don’t reach their absurdly high standards. Slytherins have a nasty habit of holding themselves to standards far higher than anyone else holds them to. When something they’ve works hard for doesn’t turn out the way that they intend, or isn’t good enough for them, they come down on themselves hard. This often takes two forms; self deprecation and working even harder. That quickly turns into a slytherin working even harder, stretching themselves even thinner, and burning out. Luckily, slytherins have the loved ones around them that are able to pull them back a little bit. Their hufflepuff friends remind them to rest and drink lots of water. Ravenclaws offer their own input on the project, helping divide the work and take some of the weight off the slytherin’s shoulders. Gryffindors make them stop working all together, challenging them to some ridiculous game and forcing them to step away. These strategies don’t always work, slytherins can be rather obstinate when they want to be and will dig their heels when forced to do something. Though, they tend to recognize the helping hand and accept it, silently grateful. Their friensds are always there to remind them that they’ve worked hard, they’ve worked enough, and the work their doing is valued.
Snakes are a creation of elegance, they don’t have to chew their food they,as Boruto calls it, vore their food! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, snakes think you look pretty/handsome today💕
