Scott Palfrey

Scott is a designer I have come across ever since I started making sports designs. He’s one of the regulars I see within the smsports community and I’ve always been a fan of his work. Last week he shared some of his older work which is some of my favourites of his. The simplicity of an action shot with the larger imagery works so well as a composition. However, my favourite part of this series is the way Scott uses the lighting by not just placing it anywhere but somewhere that brings both bits of imagery life and maximum effect.

Chris Rathbone

I first came across Chris’ work for the Formula 2 racing driver, Clément Novalak. His incredible attention to detail along with the addition of movement and speed are bold and eye-catching. Chris is an illustrator who once you see his work you can’t not hit the follow button. Each project is different to the next but with a distinctive style specific to Chris.

You will find Chris’ work predominately in the sporting world mainly around anything with a car which perfectly suits his unique illustrative style. However, his work for the NBA, football, cycling and much more show off Chris’ talent. Can’t wait to see what comes next from him.
