Rubber Necker & White Knuckle Band @ Smith's Alternative

Honestly, not my kind of gig. I even had that moment of 'Am I actually more conservative than I think I am?' when the gig started with the singer for White Knuckle Band, Celia, burping into the mic seven times. She then proceeded to strip throughout the first three songs, one of which was 'Let's Get Fucked Up!', soon followed by 'I'm done with this shit'. If you know what I mean by 'cock rock', this very much felt like 1990s punk 'vag rock'. A vibe, just not my personal vibe and not at all what I was expecting from the evening.
I also got hit twice, once by flying fake poo and once by a banana. It felt like the meme of I came out to have a good time and I honestly feel so attacked right now.
The pussy/vagina song was pretty rad though. And the guitarist was great.
Only saw half of Rubber Necker because I was buggered and not having anywhere near as much fun as I wanted to have.
