Maybe ill draw Ragnar too someday... but I mostly just wanted to redesign xD

OLD ART (2022):

I spotted this screenshot on Pinterest and just remembered, I'm curious to know what the color of the rose meant.

Had never done the design for the king in my MLP au... felt its about time (mostly cause I wanted to design Annette's... so I went ahead and did all the royals).

Design notes:

They're not alicorns, as I felt doing alicorns might be... a lot? so im saving it if anything... Though the King comes from a royal line of pegasi, Annette took after her father, the king's brother. While Annette's mother, the queen, is just an earth pony.

Annette's cutiemark is bubbles, because I felt that would fit her bubbly personality. I also wanted to avoided doing a "spinning wheel" cutiemark. Though, bubbles do pop... and are "fragile" which is how her family sees her? so I think at the end they do fit ;v;!

A Halloween post :3c ft. my fav characters from movie/s all dressed up for the season haha!

Just a couple of headcanons I made up. Without the English dub of the sequel, it may diverge from canon. Future, when the dub is out, I may edit it again or additionally add more.

Gretel:

She and her brother don't know the exact reason of what happened to their parents, but due to their affiliation with the SMCA, Gretel believes it has something to do with magic/dark magic and over time, grew to dislike it.

Her parents' role at the SMCA was the reason, Gretel was inspired to become an agent herself.

She grew up in a different orphanage than her brother.

Gretel has an ambitious and workaholic nature, which facilitated her obtaining good grades at the school and the academy.

During school time, she had a few friends and all followed a different path in life, unable to see each other again. During the academy, she had only two, which further developed romantic interests in other citizens.

During the last year at the high school, she developed a crush on a popular student. She helped him out for the exams for good reasons, but later it turned out she was used for his own benefits, and his promise at the prom was fulfilled for a bit. By the end of the day, she had figured that out, due to the reason, she wasn't being treated decently by the "boyfriend's" friends and realized he just had set up a facade the entire time.

Gretel grew more of into a "job-life" person due to her short list of family members and friends. She felt she only had use at the agency.

Hansel:

He and his sister don't know the reason to what happened to their parents. Hansel, being two years older than his sister, tried to look out for them.

Hansel ended up in a different orphanage than his sister but used to see her once in a while around the school.

He never grew a hatred towards magic, as his sister did. On the other hand, he never questioned the exact way his parents "vanished"

In his teen years, he began to work as an illusionist and con artist to make money. Upon getting better at it, he earned more money and used it to get his sister a scholarship for the SMCA academy.

His life as an street artist, he met many people from many parts around the kingdom.

He was a decent student and not very fond of studying theory. His entrance into the "bad side" was the easier way for him to get the money.

He has always appreciated his younger sister, despite their rivalry growing due to their opposed paths. He appreciates her more than he shows.

He's got a bit of a ladies' man attitude; the difference is, he's more into flirting and romanticizing than anything serious or intimate.

(Prince) Ragnar:

Ragnar has an older brother, who's the direct successor of his father, the king.

Ragnar's parents are sorcerers, thus inheriting him magic powers.

He's out of the family, the most skilled magician, and he uses his powers more than people believe.

He mainly uses his powers for the good and to help people out. (With and without their knowledge)

He got into Princess Annette's kingdom for her birthday party and the eventual attempt to get her interest.

Instead, he met Gretel from the SMCA and her fierce energy gained his interest.

Puberty gifted him good looks and extreme "rizz"

Future/Other ideas?:

Ragnar would abandon his Prince title to be together with Gretel.

Ragnar would join the SMCA to work with Gretel and her brother.

Hansel and Ragnar become good buddies over time.

Hansel knows from both Gretel and Ragnar about their future plans.

Gretel told Ragnar about her bad time with the jock at high school.

Ragnar and Gretel banter around often.

They have the impression the SMCA wants them to have offspring for professional reasons.

Had a silly idea of 'what if the main trio from SMCA owned miraculous' xD so I had to doodle it...

None of them are Ladybug or Chat Noir which is a shocker ig? since they're the main two miraculous of MLB!! but I felt the qualities of those miraculous didn't quite fit the main trio of SMCA. - - - - - - - - - -

CHARACTERS / HEROES

Gretel, welder of the Ox Miraculous - Hero name: Ochse - Strong-headed, determined, strong - Weapon: War-hammer

Hansel, welder of the Fox Miraculous - Hero name: Lisitsyn - Cunning, trickster, resourceful - Weapon: Flute

Ragnar, welder of the unified Turtle, Dragon and Rooster Miraculous - Hero name: Vasilisk - Charming, defender, pretentious - Weapon: Shield, Sword, Quill (inactive) - - - - - - - - - -

The SMCA keeps track of every magic user in the kingdom, therefore they also have a record of miraculous users (those of their department, and those they consider "vigilantes" that must be detained).

Gretel, who goes by the hero name Ochse, is the SMCA's only active holder - being the youngest enlisted member, she was assigned the new project as its 'tester'. She was given permission to keep the miraculous on her and Stompp by her side, however, the agency still can take them away from her.

Hansel found the fox miraculous, during the time when Gretel was taking her education, and mostly operates as a silent hero behind the shadows. Occasionally also uses the miraculous for his shows/tricks/performances. The SMCA does not know he is the fox hero, Lisitsyn, but know that the fox miraculous is active.

The SCMA owns most of the other miraculous, only missing a handful, which were lost/spread around further kingdoms.

Movie 1 would basically follow the same story, where the agents have to save the king ~ Gretel, as Ochse, goes to investigate and find Lisitsyn (Hansel) who is famously known to have stolen the king's statue. The two then go to the bakery, this is where they not only drop the regression potion on them but also reveal their identities to each other. The rest of the movie basically plays out the same, just they have the miraculous (although, as children, they cannot use them for long as it tires them out fast).

Movie 2 has Hansel, as Lisitsyn, and Gretel, as Ochse, become the best agent duo - operating as the only 2 miraculous users of the agency (with a few agents being trained/tested - Agent Stepsister might also have a miraculous by now given one as thanks for her assistance in the king rescue mission) The two run into Vasilisk when they go investigate the magic sensor's detection - who Ochse instantly distrusts due to his ownership of 3 miraculous. We find out, he's a royal prince, and was given the miraculous as gifts by his kingdom. He came as a guest to the king's niece's 18th party, but thought to assist as his hero identity when he smelled trouble on his way over. The movie also plays out similarly, with some differences here and there (since again, they own the miraculous so can achieve some things easier/differently).
