Tbh the most fun and like, sweet thing about Esti and Pavo's dynamic is that Pavo 100% fully believes that Esti is a pinacle of beauty.
Esti. who is firmly a 5/10. nobody would describe him as unattractive, nobody, besides Pavo, would describe him as attractive. he's just Some Guy. He's 5'7, not particularly thin, nor fat, nor muscular. You look at him and go, Yeah, that sure is a guy I guess?
But to Pavo? This Just Some Guy is Perfection. And thats not bc of anything weird with Pavo or demons or Esti specifically, Pavo just really really loves him and is in utter denial about it and it's starting to manifest in some kinda weird ways. like him also being in complete denial that his most beautiful darling is Just some guy.

Sorry but I hate when people say “the fandom wrote characters better than JKR” like I hate her but that’s not true..
even tho i don’t like everything she wrote feel like they mostly all had necessary traits that made them significant to the story if that makes sense? so it wouldn’t be v fun if we just changed them into completely dif ppl. but for marauders era fanon is much better since she barely gave us anything anyways. but if we’re talking just characterization in general, yeah i don’t love how fanon transforms them at times but oh well
