If there was one particular person Kisumi could immediately identify even from a mile away, it would be that peculiar redhead. A playful grin tugged the corners of his lips as he watched Rin contemplate on choosing a specific brand of ramen that was displayed on the shelf before him. While Kisumi had lost contact with his childhood friend ever since the incident of his injured wrist, he had heard from a few mutual friends that Rin had pursued a teaching career at Harpwood University. Kisumi would be lying if he said that he didn't envy the guy for getting a career at his dream school while he, at the time, had wasted his years drowning in depression.

But hey, he moved here to start anew, right? He won't get anything out of reminding himself that he could never play basketball again.

Taking advantage of the fact that Rin was so immersed in choosing the right kind of noodles, the taller male sauntered over to his direction before draping an arm over his shoulders. "Hmm, personally, I prefer kimchi-flavored ones. They're spicy but deliciously spicy, you know what I mean? But if this city has gotten you boring, then by all means choose the sesame-flavored one." Casually surprising old friends has got to be one of his favorite things to do.  

-- "Professor Matsuoka, may I please have a word with you?"

The young dark-haired student had drawn the attention of the faculty in the office after knocking on the door frame though Ruki granted no attentiveness to them for his heather-greyed eyes, void of emotion, were zeroed in on a specific redheaded professor. Since it was rigorously out of bounds for students to set foot into the faculty office, Ruki stayed behind standing by the door. In his hand detained his test he had taken last week in his Trigonometry class which he had been taking for the summer.
