So I’ve thought about writing this like a million and a half times and I have debated even more than that on how I was to start it. Do I go with “Dear Diary” or what? So, “Hey You,” just seems to fit. I’m not sure if you know me or if I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you just yet but I want you to know that I am so looking forward to that day if not. I like to think that we both either got side tracked or have just simply misplaced the map to each other’s hearts, but either way, I know that we will meet at the right time and the right place.

To start off , I’m a small town boy (and not the one sang about by Bon Jovi). I like to think of myself as a simple individual. What I say is what I mean. I don’t use hidden messages and I’m not too big on secrecy. I live simple, so much so that my place isn’t really cluttered. I don’t really like to dust. I love to listen to music and sing along. I’m not the best singer or dancer, and for that, I do apologize, but that doesn’t keep me from trying. If you don’t want to be embarrassed when a good song comes on, then I do apologize in advance. 

I like to make people smile. I strongly believe that every single person deserves a chance to be happy every single day. I try my best to see the best in people and help others as much as I can. I like to think people can trust me and I’m honest to a fault. Even when it hurts or gets me in trouble. I’m working on a list of rules to follow throughout my day to day life. Kind of like the list from NCIS of Gibb’s rules. Mine don’t really involve lawyers, suspects, or anything of that nature though. 

I really can’t wait to see your smile. What color are your eyes? Do you have dimples or freckles? So many things cross my mind. What do you like to do? What is your favorite color? Favorite food? What about ice cream? Chip flavor? I could ask questions for hours. I guess I’ll just have to wait on the answers.

If I’m honest, what I really want is to be happy. I’m pretty happy with myself right now and that’s great. But it would be nice to have someone to spend that happiness with. I guess one day, we’ll be together and live happily.
