Spun Information & Plot Idea β
Character: Logan Hayes
Theme/Vibe: Scheming
Setting: An abandoned shack filled with strange books of the occult
Potential Plot: Logan uncovers an old shack deep in the woods, and instead of fear, he sees opportunity β because power, after all, always comes with a price.
The door didnβt creak when it opened β it hissed,
like it had been holding its breath for too long.
Logan stepped inside without hesitation.
Dust curled through the air in lazy spirals, catching the moonlight like ash, and something in the floor groaned under his boots β not in protest, but recognition. The shack had been hidden well: tucked behind briar and ruin, long forgotten by anyone who didnβt know where to look. Which made it exactly the kind of place he liked.
Dark. Off-grid.
Alive in ways that made your skin prickle, if you were the sort to believe in ghosts.
But he did believe in power.
And this place reeked of it.
The walls were lined with shelves, warped and buckling under the weight of books too old for titles. Some bound in cracked leather, others in something he didnβt care to name. Symbols had been carved into the floor β not fresh, but not faded either β and in the corner sat a table covered in melted candles, bones, and a rusted dagger that looked like it had kissed more than wax.
He moved to the table, fingers ghosting over the spine of a book left half-open. No dust on this one. Which meant someone had used it recently. Or something. The air buzzed faintly with static, like the whole place was listening, waiting.
βWell, well,β he muttered under his breath, βYou werenβt just stories after all.β
He slid the book toward him, flipping the page with care. Blood had been used as ink. Ancient symbols marked the margins. A summoning, maybe. Or a ward. He didnβt care. Both had their uses.
