Not often spoken of, but the capability with which humans throw both with distance and with great precision is entirely unique to them as a species. Combine that with just the general arm strength that would be required to pick up an entire hunk of metal and fling it a meaningful distance, and the way slugs ingame can straightup embed spears in walls is just.. definitely not happening.

touhou : ) probably 3, 8 and 10 especially.

or rain world. sometimes, pokemon black/white or pokemon pearl/diamond/platinum.

touhou and rain world are introject/kin-related, if i'm totally honest. i suppose rain world is obvious at this point so ill elaborate on the former more since i dont talk about it much; i picked those three touhou games in particular for a mix of reasons, i guess theyre nostalgic to me but they also capture the 'feeling' of gensokyo really well to me. the pixellated style of touhou 3 and it's whimsical plotline in particular reminds me of vivid dreams i would have when i was younger about another world, i never did figure out what those dreams were really about exactly but touhou 3 of all things for some reason makes me feel how they did; that odd sense of misplacement, fantasy, and wanting to go back there to where i belong and am loved. i'd argue the pc98 series just does this in general, im not sure why touhou 3 stands out in my mind for it.

touhou 8 and 10 are just kinda.. the vibes. i think theres a sense of wilderness to the gensokyo i remember, the aesthetic and the music of those two games takes me back to that a lot. that and the warmth of.. belonging? friendship? alongside again the sense of fantasticality and surrealist whimsy. it's really hard to explain. home. they remind me of home. and people i loved.

- A mask, except I want it to be two masks that layer. I will craft my actual species appearance, and then I will make a second one resembling the actual bone mask I had, which I want to be able to slot over the top of the slugrat mask. Like this:

- Im trying to find.. probably satin, to make an at least somewhat accurate looking tail. I want fabric that looks short but not flat and is shiny, I might resort to fabric dyeing for the colour. I will sew in my caudal fin using purple sheer. This will ideally be as long and as thick as possible without dragging (I wish it could but it would damage..)

- Silky semitransparent purple scarf. A 1:1 of my gills? No. But the vibes are there.

- Alternatively, dyeing the tips of my hair purple. Maybe both?

- I've seen people paint claws and paws onto their shoes and even a friend who's not a therian brought it up to me, I would love to try it with some dark denim-colour boots.

- More patches for my jacket.. surprisingly that thing has been helpful.
