#sleuth kit

It took an ungodly amount of hand sewing and seam ripping, but its done! I’ve been dreaming of finishing this product since I saw it in the movie and I’m so proud of how it came out! I know the fabrics aren’t movie accurate but i had to use what I had, and I think it looks really nice.

I’m thinking of adding a monogram to the front, I swear something she had in that movie was monogramed but I can’t remember what it was.

got pockets for notebook, pens and charger, as well as the little tissue holder which brings me much joy 🥹 I changed the style from the movie version because the travel size packets of tissues dont pull up like a tissue box without tearing, but i like how it turned out!

i cha ged my mind about using the binders as structure, i think the plastic cross stitch canvas will be sturdy enough for the whole thing.

I worked out my measurements and cut out my pieces!

next im going to hand stitch the lining fabric to two of the A sections so i can sew on the pockets right to the plastic lining to hold them secure. I know itll be a bit hard to finnish the outside of the bag with the plastic lining already on those pieces, but if i have to hand stitch some of it i will 😅
