Ilios challenged Amalda to a game of anime chess

Eh, I prefer the interpretation that Sleuf is Claude’s nephew via Claude’s long lost sister and that Sylvia is really Claude’s cousin according Fire Emblem Treasure’s interpretation. It makes sense that Sleuf would be in someway related to Claude but it just seems very out of place for time travel to be in Jugdral when the concept wouldn’t be introduced til Awakening.

Sleuf stood on the sandy beach. His clothes were stained from dirt and the harsh wind picked sand into his eyes. But nonetheless he reached the base of an immense stone tower, he could see portions of the outer wall were cracking from the exposure of wind and ocean. He entered into the tower, seeing a large spiral staircase of stone leading to its pinnacle. A holy man Sleuf had no fear to what lurked in his tower, his mission was of chief concern.Upon reaching the top he could see the ocean but also even the capital of Augustria from the gaps between what he could only describes as torches. An phantom stood beside him. It was in the form of man, as if it were water yet it carried no recognizable face. "You heard my call.""I felt a need to be here. I did not understand why. But I believe I can see why." Sleuf could see from below the remnant of villages, ravaged and torn. "The cycle can break. You must merely look at all aspects." The phantom gestured its hand all across the horizon. A glimmer of light shone in the direction of south-east."I understand, thank you..Father Claude." The phantom evaporated into nothing leaving only behind a small parchment at Sleuf's feet.
