Cedric x reader with prompt 24? ❤️ love your writing
Take It Off
(Sad! Cedric Diggory x Reader)
'After years of knowing Cedric as the Golden boy, you finally see him without a smile plastered on his face— and all thanks to his father's incessant boasting.'
Hero on the wind 💨 @fe4week day 2
Haiii, I am absolutely in LOVE with your writing style and I had a really cool idea for a fic, its like a friends to lovers trope where they don’t realize they like each other until they see each other hanging out with other people.
Soo—it’s practically Oliver Wood because I am OBSESSEDD with this mann, I swear.
So basically Oliver and reader are friends, Oliver talks to Reader about most things and she listens, but then when Oliver tells her theres a new Chaser in the team you get very happy for him—thats when tragedy strikes.
Oliver starts talking more about this Chaser, praising her, starts hanging out with her more, and everything reader and him did, they did it more—and better. It honestly came to a point where Reader was quite jealous but she put it aside because she knew they(Chaser and Oliver) were just friends and she had no right to even be jealous.
So when Reader got more and more jealous, it hits her even harder after failing a major test, she cries and she tries to tell Oliver how she feels but Oliver keeps interrupting her about what Chaser did today and all that—so basically reader is very annoyed. She then waits for Oliver to finish before excusing herself. Which is where she bumps into Cedric Diggory, (IT CAN BE ANY GUY ITS UP TO YOU) which was basically like a brother to her, he saw her cry and comforted her, listened to her, and did the things Oliver never really did. So you decided that you were gonna take a break from Oliver—let things cool down for a while. BUT THEN Oliver gets jealous. He starts getting frustrated with why you’re now wearing Hufflepuffs color, Cedrics jersey, and hanging out with Cedric more and it came to a point where he lot against hufflepuff and tried to drown himself in the shower and failing miserably. After he got out he saw you at the hallway laughing with Cedric at something he said, his hand caressing your back and all that stuff yk, so after Cedric left Oliver confronted Reader.
Starts asking all these “why” and “when” questions and you guys argue and after awhile you guys kiss it out and yes! The end!!
I HOPE IM NOT ASKING FOR TOO MUCH THANKYOUHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHHEILYSMMM
Yellow Looks Bad on You
Oliver Wood x Reader
CHARACTER MASTERLIST
A/N this took so long I am so sorry! Hope you like it! I did sway a bit from the original but not much!
—
I used to think there was nothing in the world more comforting than Oliver Wood talking.
He talked when he was happy, when he was stressed, when he was thinking too hard and needed to hear his own thoughts out loud. He talked about Quidditch strategies over breakfast, about classes while walking to them, about ridiculous dreams he’d had the night before.
Mostly, he talked to me.
That was how it had always been.
Which was why, perhaps, I should have noticed something was wrong the first time he forgot we were meant to study together.
“Sorry,” Oliver said, breathless as he all but crashed into me outside the library. His hair was windswept, his tie half-undone, and there was dirt smeared over one cheek. “I completely forgot. Hooch asked me to help the new assistant carry equipment down to the pitch.”
“The new assistant?” I repeated.
His entire face lit up.
“She’s brilliant.”
I stared at him.
That should have been warning enough…
Her name was Amelia Hart. She had finished Durmstrang only three years earlier, was helping Madame Hooch for the term, and apparently knew more about Quidditch than any living person.
At least according to Oliver.
—
“You should have seen the play she drew up,” he said excitedly two days later, walking beside me through the corridor. “Honestly, it was incredible. No one has ever thought of using the Chasers like that before.”
“Sounds lovely,” I muttered.
“And she’s actually fun to talk to, too. Most people just stare blankly when I talk about Quidditch.”
I nearly tripped over absolutely nothing.
“Oh,” I said. “Right.”
He didn’t notice.
That was the worst part. Oliver never noticed.
He didn’t notice that he stopped sitting beside me at dinner because Amelia sat at the teachers’ table close enough for him to wave at her. He didn’t notice that he talked about her constantly. He didn’t notice that every time he said her name, something sharp twisted unpleasantly in my chest.
I told myself I was being ridiculous.
Oliver was my best friend. That was all.
Besides, I had other friends.
Well. One other friend.
—
Cedric Diggory looked up from the table in the library as I dropped into the chair across from him with considerably more force than necessary.
“You look awful,” he said.
“Thank you,” I replied flatly.
Cedric slid one of the books away from me before I could put my head down on it.
“What did he do?”
I looked up sharply. “Who says this is about Oliver?”
Cedric gave me a look. “Who said I drop a name?”
Unfortunately, Cedric and I had become friends far too long ago for me to get away with pretending.
We’d been paired together for a Herbology project at the beginning of term. I had expected him to be insufferably perfect. Instead, he’d spent the entire first meeting complaining about Snape and accidentally knocking over a pot of bubotuber pus.
We’d been friends ever since.
“He has a new favourite person,” I said miserably.
Cedric blinked. “What?”
“The new Quidditch assistant.” I picked at the corner of my parchment. “She’s beautiful and clever and likes Quidditch and apparently no one has ever understood Oliver the way she does.”
Cedric was quiet for a moment.
Then he leaned back in his chair and folded his arms.
“No,” he said.
“No what?”
“No, she isn’t his favourite person.”
I looked at him.
“He just hasn’t realised who his favourite person already is.”
I laughed weakly. “You’re terrible at this.”
“I am amazing at this,” Cedric informed me. “You’re just refusing to listen.”
Maybe I should have listened when he started talking about things and “great master plan”
Instead, I spent the next week trying not to care….
I stopped waiting for Oliver after class. I stopped saving him a seat in the library. I spent more time with Cedric because he was easy to be around and because he never made me feel like I was competing for his attention.
—
One afternoon, while we sat by the lake, Cedric draped his yellow scarf around my shoulders because I’d complained I was cold.
I forgot to give it back.
Then came the Hufflepuff versus Gryffindor match.
I wasn’t even thinking when I wrapped the scarf around my neck that morning.
Cedric grinned when he saw it.
“You know Wood’s going to lose his mind.”
“He won’t even notice,” I said.
I should have known better.
From the second Oliver flew onto the pitch and spotted me in the stands, he looked furious.
He played terribly.
He missed a pass, shouted at two of his own Chasers with terrible instructions, and nearly fell off his broom after glaring up at the stands one too many times.
Hufflepuff won.
Cedric was still laughing about it as we walked back inside the castle.
“I swear he looked personally offended by your existence.”
“Oh, shut up,” I said, laughing despite myself.
Cedric reached out to steady me when I nearly slipped on the wet stone floor.
And of course that was the exact moment Oliver appeared.
He looked awful.
His hair was damp with sweat, his robes were half-open, and there was a dangerous look in his eyes.
“Can I talk to you?” he asked.
Cedric looked between us.
“I’ll see you later,” he said quietly.
Oliver waited until Cedric disappeared around the corner.
Then he turned to me.
“What the hell was that?”
I blinked. “What was what?”
“The scarf!”
I looked down. “It’s a scarf.”
“It’s Hufflepuff!”
“Very observant.”
“And you were cheering for them!”
“You mean I was cheering for Cedric?”
“Why?” Oliver demanded.
I stared at him.
“Why?” I repeated incredulously. “You’ve spent the last month practically in love with Amelia Hart! And forgot I existed!”
His face went scarlet.
“What? I am not in love with Amelia!”
“Oh, really? Because all I’ve heard for weeks is Amelia said this and Amelia did that and isn’t Amelia brilliant?”
“That’s different.”
“How?”
“Because it just is!”
I laughed sharply.
“You know what, forget it. You clearly don’t need me anymore.”
I tried to walk past him.
Oliver caught my wrist.
The anger on his face vanished so quickly it made my chest hurt.
“What?” he said quietly.
“You heard me.”
“No, I didn’t.” His fingers loosened around my wrist, suddenly uncertain. “What do you mean, I don’t need you?”
I swallowed.
“You have her now. Someone who understands Quidditch and listens to you and likes all the same things. I just…” My voice cracked embarrassingly. “I just thought maybe I mattered more than that.”
Oliver looked at me as though I had just told him the sky was green.
“You matter more than anyone,” he said.
I let out a breathless laugh. “Then why do you care so much that I’m friends with Cedric?”
“Because he’s always with you!” Oliver burst out. “Because you laugh at everything he says and you wear his stupid scarf and you don’t wait for me anymore!”
I went very still.
“Oliver,” I said slowly. “Are you jealous?”
“No.”
“Oliver.”
He groaned and dragged a hand down his face.
“I have been losing my mind for two weeks because Cedric Diggory touched your arm once.”
I stared at him.
“You are jealous.”
“I am not,” he said stubbornly.
“You are.”
“I am only a little jealous.”
“You nearly flew into a goalpost.”
“That was unrelated.”
“It really wasn’t.”
For one awful, impossible second, we just looked at each other.
Then Oliver said, very quietly, “I don’t care about Amelia.”
I stopped smiling. “don’t?”
“No.” He stepped closer. “I thought I liked talking to someone who understood Quidditch.”
“And?”
“And then you stopped talking to me and suddenly nothing was right anymore.”
My heart was beating so hard I was sure he could hear it.
“You’re an idiot,” I whispered.
“I know.”
“You made me miserable.”
“I know that too.”
I should have stayed angry.
Instead, I reached up, grabbed the front of his robes, and kissed him.
For a second he froze.
Then his hands found my waist and he kissed me back like he’d been wanting to for ages.
When we finally pulled apart, Oliver rested his forehead against mine.
“So,” he said softly, “can you stop wearing Diggory’s scarf now?”
I laughed.
“No.”
Oliver looked horrified.
“You are never going to let me live this down, are you?”
“Absolutely not,” I said, and kissed him again.

Initially, I Recolored this mesh by @gorillax3-cc for my Sims and friends, but since some of @sugarcoatzzz's followers requested it after she posted her Sims wearing it, and she pestered me to share it, I'm releasing it publicly.
As mentioned above, this is a Recolor, and it requires the mesh by Gorilla Gorilla Gorilla; otherwise, it won't show up in-game.

pretend that Lewyn is Forseti there
(or you don't have to pretend depending on interpretation)
Ced
i have a disability. more specifically, i have a rare genetic condition called camurati-engelmann’s disease, or CED. it is also known as progressive diaphyseal dysplasia (PDD). it is an extremely rare disorder and only around 300 cases have been reported worldwide.
i figured i would make a post talking about it, in an effort to not only educate others, but to possibly connect with others who suffer from it as well. i apologize for the longer post but please this moment to learn about my disorder.
CED is a skeletal condition that is characterized by abnormally thick bones (hyperostosis) in the arms, legs and skull. the overgrowth in bone causes bone pain, muscle weakness and extreme fatigue. the pain feels like an electric stabbing pain, an ever-increasing pressure sensation around the bones affected, or a constant aching. pain can also occur in joints and they will often lock-up, becoming immobile and stiff. the pain is especially severe during 'flare-ups', which can be unpredictable, exhausting and last anywhere from a few hours to several weeks. this is a common occurrence for us, often causing extensive sleep deprivation from the chronic, severe and disabling pain. when this happens, we are often bedridden or housebound for days or even weeks.
those affected also have an unsteady walk and limp. thickening of the skull can also lead to neurological problems, like hearing loss, vision issues, vertigo and tinnitus. symptoms vary in severity from person to person. there are treatments, however it cannot be cured. pain management is a large aspect of living with this chronic disease.
there is very little awareness and research for CED. rare diseases are severely neglected and overlooked, as are those who suffer and live with them. research is often not considered profitable due to their cost to develop and the limited patient population. major federal funding agencies give preference to research that is likely to have a direct impact on patients.
living with a rare disease is extremely difficult and isolating. it impacts the lives of millions of us and our loved ones worldwide. those of us suffering from rare medical conditions should be entitled to the same quality of treatment as other patients. i am disabled, but i am worth it.
