@sleipnir-seeking ♥’d for a starter!
“Alright,” Sigyn began as she deposited the stack of books she’d brought with her onto the grass in front of Sleipnir, a basket of apples precariously balanced on top. “So. Where would you like to begin today?”
This had become a surprise routine for her over the past several months as she tried desperately to understand Sleipnir’s language. The horse was intelligent and clearly could communicate, but it seemed like Loki was the only one who truly ever knew what Sleipnir was saying. That seemed like such a terribly lonely existence, to only have one person with whom you could speak, so Sigyn had taken to coming to visit Sleipnir several times a week with books on a variety of topics for them to peruse together in the hopes that it would help bridge the communication gap. She didn’t think it was actually helping all that much, but Sleipnir at least seemed to be humoring her, if only because she bribed him with apples.
