Guess who got to come out to the pool with me today!
I have one of those floating waterproof speakers that sits in its own little blow up pineapple. Since the pineapple has a sealed bottom, I was able to get this awesome shot:
And, of course it's a big pool with a tiny doll in it.
Thimblina wants to be my purse doll now. She loves her adventures.
Spring is finally here. Life returns. The actual painting is bigger and features full body, but I decided to show a cropped version for better composition. Worked on this one throughout Easter. I will probably continue working on it some over time. I had always wanted to paint something fae related so I can hang it on the big, white, empty wall that I stare at daily. As for the character, I don’t know who he is, but he just kind of came to life from a blank, dark-green background and things just suddenly formed around him. It was like he was like a vortex from where everything else came to existence. He definitely reminds me of that one skeptical elf that was in my dream a while back.

Fairies in the Garden
I was able to catch a few nice backyard shots before sunset today. I finished unloading the car from our convention/meetup, and saw how nice the light was. That's Thimblina, my SleepingElf BonBon.

Absinthe needed a whole bench for her wings. Diana says she should fold them demurely.
The tiny fairies all landed on the hobeysuckle fence.
"This stuff is invasive," says Gala.
"Delicious, too," grinned Charlie.
He's back! Icky the Bat and most of his friends are rescued from the storage unit! I picked up something fun from the Bricoleur today.
"23 Skadoo! Nice ride, Kukla!"
"I agree," said Thimblina, "But I'm driving."
"Why?"
"I've seen you drive that batmobile."
Ming hopped on. "I'll sit on the bumper seat!"
"All right," Icky sighed. "But I get shotgun!"
"Go ahead, Icky. I have moor room to stretch my wings back here, anyway."
"When did the Imp get here?"
"Hey guys! Whatcha doin? Can I come?"
"Hi there Bogey! Wanna ride in the new car with us?"
"Bogey!" Scolded Thimblina, "Get off the windscreen!"
"Ok, I'll be the hood ornament!"
"Bogey! Come to the back, we have room for you!"
And so the Tinies get to go have a road trip together!
